Keycards allow you to enter building areas and condo. They easily de-magnetized with cell phones or magnets from purses. The neighborhood is in a fun part of Waikiki with lots of nightlife, restaurants and beach life--close to everything! Search online - 101things to do oahu Parking garage (CASH only) is available in the building; $10 for First 2hrs, the $6 for every hour thereafter, or $45 for 24hrs. On side streets based on availability (Pau street, Niu Street) select sign hours. Free parking on Ala Wai Blvd Sat/Sunday, Mon-Fri Free (except 8:30-11:30am) Holidays free -if you rent a Smart Car from the agency in the building, they offer parking discounts (check rates). The city bus service is very efficient and the bus stop is nearby. In Waikiki you don't need a car as everything is walkable and parking is difficult. It's nice to have a car for just the days you want to explore other parts of the island. Airport Transportation has taxi services available such as; 'the cab' or may try Speedishuttle or Discount Shuttle Hawaii for discounts. Also, its an easy ride (Note: maybe crowded, so choose alternate if that is not appropriate for you & consider luggage) on #19 bus to&from Airport. Located at the "gateway" to Waikiki, the Hawaiian Monarch overlooks Fort DeRussy Beach Park and the sparkling ocean. Enjoy the recreation deck with its swimming (salt water) pool and panoramic views of Waikiki. Nearby, Food Trucks across from Buidling on corner; also Pantry Grocery Store, 7min/0.3miles walking located @ (438 Hobron Lane, 96815).
