Waterfront metro station is also next to the building giving easy access to the entire city, monuments, and museums. Located just south of the National Mall, the Wharf offers easy access to Washington, D.C.'s amazing monuments and memorials, art venues, and sporting events, and has reestablished Washington, D.C., as a waterfront destination. This remarkable, mile-long stretch along the Potomac River comes to life with restaurants, stores, cafes, residences, and businesses, all complemented by monumental views and vibrant culture. It's D.C.'s new place to be and be seen! Bring your car and street park if you need but with a walk score of 87% and a bike score of 97% this is a walkers and bikers paradise! The nearest Capital Bikeshare (DC’s bike share service) station is around the corner at 4th & M St SW (2 min walk). Buses flank the surrounding areas, and can take you all over the city. With the Waterfront enjoying its own metro station you can easily move around the District, or hop on a bike share or scooter to really feel the vibe of the city! By taking the metro one stop to the L’Enfant Plaza stop you can be at the edge of the National Mall in a 2 minutes train ride! From there take a 5 minute stroll up to Independence Avenue, and stumble on the Hirshorn Museum and Air & Space Museum right in the middle of the Mall. Uber and Lyft taxis are plentiful in the area as well. ~ Parking needs to be requested in advance of your stay. Please ask for more information, and ensure that parking passes are printed and ready for your stay. ~ Strict NO party policy. Smoking of any kind and drug use in or around the property is strictly prohibited (including outside spaces). Evidence of illegal substances or marijuana use will result in automatic cancellation with no refund. ~ We are pet-friendly; please inquire when booking. Additional fees apply. ~ For group bookings, renters must be above the age of 25 unless agreed upon in advance. Families with children under 25 are welcome. Due to fire code and insurance requirements, the property has a maximum occupancy, and additional guests must have our advance approval. ~ We may request additional proof of identity/address (passport/driver's license, etc.) and the reason for stay, such as work contracts or permits. ~ The exterior may be monitored by cameras; however, there are no cameras indoors. ~ The apartment building is a tight-knit community; please be mindful of noise that could disturb neighbors early in the morning or late at night. We enforce 9 pm quiet hours. ~ While luggage is expected, we strictly prohibit large items (including, but not limited to, bicycles and exercise equipment) being brought into the unit without prior approval. ~ If your booking spans two weeks or longer, we may require a "deep clean" following your check-out. ~ Prior to check-in, the property has been inspected for damages and to ensure everything is in working order. If you discover something broken or not working upon check-in, please notify us immediately; otherwise, we may deduct the cost from your deposit. ~ Please ensure that all windows and doors are closed when the HVAC is running. ~ Do NOT flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. ~ Our Front Desk is NOT a concierge for Airbnb guests and will not be available to print anything or provide assistance.
