Gravel roads are very common for cabins that are located high in the mountainous regions. Once you get to the cabin, the view is worth the drive! As we do not know the driving experience and comfort level of our guests on hilly roads, we highly recommend bringing an All Wheel Drive(AWD) or a 4WD. Guests and our cleaning crew drive up comfortably using their 2WD vehicles as well with experience! During snow/ice/heavy rains, an AWD/4WD is required. We have ample parking space at the bottom of the hill on our property for guests who are not comfortable driving on hilly roads or if their vehicle is not capable enough. If you have any questions about the driving in the mountains, please reach out to us. 🍁 Living Room The living room is designed to bring everyone together with classic cabin decor, and has two 3-seater and one 2-seater couch in front of the flat-screen TV. The stone fireplace is a focal point of the room and adds a warm glow to the space on cool evenings. The living room is surrounded by windows and gets a lot of sunshine in the afternoons. The 4 bathrooms spread throughout the home make it easy for guests on every level to unwind from a busy day. Glass containers and alcohol are not allowed in the hot tub. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or you are pregnant. No bubble bath in the hot tub please. We ask that you please do not bring any pets in the tub! $500 additional cleaning fee will be added if there is pet hair in the tub. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK! 🍁Deck Railing: Do not climb on, or lean over deck railings, serious injury could result from a fall. 🍁 Outdoor Space: Big groups need a lot of space to spread out, and this luxury cabin offers both indoor and outdoor lounge areas so everyone can relax in comfort. After a day of hiking and exploring, swing away in the swings front of the outdoor fireplace and take in the natural beauty. Families can sit out here, chat, roast marshmallows and play games surrounded by mountains. Also, we have a Smart TV with Roku. 🍁 Outdoor Grill: Outdoor propane grill is provided for guest use. 🍁 Bear Safe Trash Containers Any trash that is removed from the cabin must be placed in the bear safe trash containers near the front entrance. All trash must be bagged. Make sure the containers are properly secured. Do not leave coolers or any food item outside the cabin. 🍁 Laundry Washer and dryer is located in the main floor with ample space to store laundry. The cabin has 3 irons and there is iron board available near the Laundry station. 🍁 Pets Dog friendly retreat - We love our fur babies and encourage you to bring yours with you for a memorable vacation! Dogs only. No cats. Pets must be disclosed and added to the reservation prior to arrival. Any violations discovered during post-checkout inspection may result in additional charges. 🌲 SOME NOTES ABOUT THE MOUNTAIN LIVING: 🔸 Cell service may be spotty. 🔸 Some roads in the general area may be twisty and winding. 🔸 You will likely see bugs, furry critters and wildlife (including bears!). We do maintain the property with regular pest control, but due to the surroundings, or if doors are left open, or food is left outside the house, this can attract critters. 🔸 There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat. Storms can also make roads impassable, so if a storm is in the forecast during your reservation, come prepared with water and non-perishable food, etc. We will try and help you and ensure your stay remains pleasant even during times where things go beyond our control! 🔸 PLEASE NOTE: Fall/Winter is Lady bug season in the Mountains and these little bugs are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the cabins and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes. 🔸 Note: This is the mountains and WiFi and cell phone service can sometimes be spotty and lose service. If the internet does go out, try power cycling the router first.
