Hackney Canal Penthouse with Huge Roof Terrace

A calm and peaceful penthouse right on the River Lea and only a short walk from the cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants of Clapton and Stoke Newington. Clapton train station is a 10 min walk. It will get you to central London in 20 mins. The huge private roof terrace has views of the river and the marshes. I love to cook so the kitchen is fully equipped and there’s tea and fresh coffee for you. I am a Londoner working in film and TV. Please check out my guide for my favourite local places. The space The flat is the penthouse of a five storey apartment block with a lift, overlooking the River Lea and Springfield Park. The kitchen and sitting room are open plan. It’s an airy big space, perfect to work or relax in. The kitchen As well as the usual kitchen appliances, there is a dishwasher, coffee machine and blender. I'm a keen cook so please enjoy my cookbooks and then if the sun’s out, enjoy your meal alfresco on the terrace. There is a big comfy corner sofa and a widescreen TV with Netflix and a few tv channels. The Terrace There are double doors leading out to the 40sqm terrace which wraps around our flat and has incredible views of the river. My favourite thing to do is have a coffee and watch the house boats go by. There is a table outside and also a lm outdoor sofa perfect for relaxing with a book or magazine. Bedroom There is a big comfy king sized bed. The ironing board is tucked behind the wardorbe and the iron is on the windowsill. Bathroom Bath, shower and loo. Guest access You can pay for parking on my street (10-12pm) or it's free on Sundays Other things to note I have lots of plants on my terrace that I would be very grateful if you can water in warm weather. I will meet you at the flat. Just press the door number and the bell button. Then get the lift up to 5th floor. You can’t get through to the floor without the fob key, we will let you in on the first time. This is my main home so I will leave all of my belongings neatly tidied away here. I will leave you a rail for your clothes and a cupboard for your food and space in the fridge.
