The transformation of the common pool area at Island Winds, including entry rock feature and infinite aqua-pool deck is complete. Hurricane Harvey deposited more sand on our beach, making the beach outside our back door larger than any other on the Island. Lobby access: Once your reservation is confirmed we will send you a code to the electronic entry door to the lobby. Unit access: The unit is equipped an August SmartLock and keypad which eliminates the need to carry keys to the pool or beach. Once your reservation is confirmed you will receive a 4 to 6 digit numerical code customized for your stay. Your personal code will expire at noon on the day you check-out. A building office is located on the first floor of the building. They are available during normal business hours. In addition, a building manager lives on premises. You will be able to reach him during emergencies or through the building office. You can reach me by telephone any time you like. Located on the widest beach in the area, this location is a true beach adventure! Ft. Myers Beach is a finger island, with one main road (Estero Boulevard) that runs north and south. The "Beach Trolley" is a bus service that runs the length of the island and into the town of Ft. Myers. A schedule for the Trolley and other public transportation is listed on the Leegov website. My preferred mode of travel is a beach bicycle. You can rent beach bikes directly across the street at the Dolphin Inn. Bicycle racks are located in front of our building. You will have access to a covered carport during your stay (space number 59). Please visit the office during business hours to get a parking "hang tag" for your vehicle. Please be aware that between December 15 and April 30 each year there is a 14 day minimum stay. The minimum stay between May 1 and December 14 is 7 days.
