Description

Tyn Llan is reached by heading down a private track – go past the ancient church, to rural bliss. The views from this whitewashed little Welsh listed cottage are as peaceful and calm as it gets. The beautiful gardens are a haven; ponder by the stream and read quietly by pots of geraniums. The space Slate slabs set in the garden pathway lead to your rustic haven. Inside Tyn Llan, with stone flagging and underfloor heating in the kitchen, remnants of the old cottage may remain, but style and comfort are now the order of the day. The sitting room is super with gentle colours, stone flags, a warming wood-burner and striped blinds; sink into a squashy snuggler chair or sofa with your drink and unwind. A spacious family kitchen is well equipped with a great gas hob, good ovens for the keen cook and everything you need to prepare a super supper. A chunky dining table keeps the country feel and is convenient here for unhurried dinners. Underfloor heating in the kitchen keeps the toes toasty warm throughout the year. The master king bedroom at Tyn Llan is beautifully uncluttered with warm colours and simple furnishings. Wake to views over the garden. Next door is a twin room, small but perfectly formed. A pretty bathroom, crisp and shiny with a large bath to help soak away any weary limbs. Outside the large, established garden is a delight with seating areas and a trampoline for all to enjoy. Come here to walk, cycle, take photos, fish, watch butterflies, comb the beaches and drink in the dark night skies and stars. The countryside here is so ridiculously pretty. Idyllic country lanes lead you past graceful old trees and fields of sheep to the local village at Bethel with a shop and pub. Locally you can blow the cobwebs away on the beaches at Aberffraw or Newborough. Or of course, you can live the high life and dine at the Marram Grass just down the road, to savour the taste of locally produced food. Peace and tranquillity are guaranteed.
