Apartment beautifully situated amongst the private grounds, shaded with palms, dotted with hammocks and chaises. Grab your morning cup of coffee and go for a stroll, watching the dolphins play. Occupying the whole lower level of the house there are direct views of the ocean and beach from nearly all windows of the apartment. There are two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, open plan kitchen, dining and living. Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms, (Additional 2 guests on full size bed and 2 on sofa bed in studio set up) Washer and Dryer and plenty of closet space. The apartment is situated in the beautiful quiet and residential part - mid island. All you need is just 2 min walk - the island's Publix across the Road and the Marina with Bar and Restaurant. For plenty more bars, restaurants and shops take a trolley ride, beach stroll or bike ride to the north of the island. Your Beach apartment and the upper apartment, which we live in, share the surrounding gardens, stocked with old tropical trees and palms. Tranquil and Peaceful. Hammocks slung between the palms. There is something for everybody - whether you just want to relax on the beach, cool drink in hand or plan a more action packed day ranging from fishing, deep sea fishing, jet ski, kayak, paddle boarding, biking, walking, beach combing, bird watching - to name a few. There is lots to explore: Lovers Key National Park is just around the corner with its gorgeous beaches and trails. A popular day trip are the beautiful islands of Sanibel and Captiva. The surrounding areas offer great shopping, and the world's best golf courses. After such a busy day you can enjoy watching the sunset from your Beach Front Apartment. This is the stuff that dreams are made of! We offer 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards and lots of blow up toys for your enjoyment! *** Please note we no longer offer the bikes due to maintenance issues. If you do not have a rental car, the trolley can get you about. There is a trolley stop located 2 min from the apartment. It can take you north of the island to the bars, restaurants and shops. Or south, along to the next island - Lovers Key - a beautiful national park. Across the road from the Beach Apartment, about two minutes by foot is the island's local small supermarket, stocked for all your needs.Also a Marina with boat hire and 'Snook Bight' Bar and Restaurant. Travel light: apart from linen & bath towels, hairdryer, starter set of soap and toilet paper, we supply beach towels, loungers, beach chairs and an umbrella and (URL HIDDEN) you have less to bring.
