Grand Champions Villas is a lush, peaceful, 11-acre low-rise condominium complex in Wailea, Maui's luxury resort community. You will find yourself steps away from the Wailea Tennis Club and surrounded by the Wailea Blue Golf Course. In fact, you can enjoy your morning coffee while the first golfers of the day tackle the second green just off your lanai. You will be within walking distance of fine dining, first-class shopping, and a 10-minute walk or 2 minute drive from some of Maui's best beaches. Unit 89 is located on the "mauka" or uphill side of the complex, which affords sweeping views down the golf course to the ocean. Your own free assigned parking space is a short distance from the front door and the condo is just one step up onto the curb from the parking lot. You never have to lug groceries, golf clubs, kids, or beach gear up stairs. Unlike many condos on Maui where the second bedroom is in an upstairs loft, our unit is all on one level, with solid doors that close to each bedroom. Bathrooms are both en suite. Once inside you will appreciate the upgrades, including new granite counters and designer fixtures in the kitchen and bathrooms; newly-tiled tub in the guest bathroom and double shower in the master bathroom; fluffy new towels; luxurious high thread count cotton sheets; and updated decorating touches. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes everything you need to prepare full meals. We encourage you to enjoy Maui's famous tropical breezes, but for the rare days when they fail, ceiling fans and ultra-quiet split AC in the bedrooms and living room will keep you cool. It does occasionally rain in Wailea, and for those days we offer cards, games, a small library, and colored pencils. The unit comes stocked with beach towels and chairs, boogie boards, beach toys and coolers. The TV in the living room is equipped with free Netflix. You may also access your own Hulu, Amazon Video, VUDU, sling, Showtime, and HBO Now accounts with your own login information There are two pools in the complex, each with BBQ facilities and jacuzzis. One is reserved for adults only. Grand Champions Villas is a tranquil community, with quiet hours enforced from 10 p.m. - 8 a.m. Our condo features keyless entry, so late arrivals are no problem, and you never need to worry about losing a key. Smoking is not permitted in the condo, on the lanai, or at the pool areas. No third party bookings, please. If you won't also be staying here, don't try to book for someone else. The keyless entry code and all instructions will be available in the Maui Condo and Home app the day you are scheduled to arrive. Check in time is 4:00 p.m. Your condo comes with its own free assigned parking space, and the parking pass will be waiting inside the unit for you. Full-sized washer and dryer are located in the closet on the lanai. Passwords and codes for the free wifi and pool will be in the unit for you. Our on-island management company, Maui Condo and Home, is available to handle emergencies or any issues 24 hours a day, and I am happy to answer questions or offer suggestions any time. Wailea is famous for its gorgeous beaches, all of which are public property, so you can enjoy them without having to pay beachfront prices. Wailea, Ulua, Mokapu, and Keawakapu are all a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive away from your Maui home at Grand Champions Villas. Just a little farther north in Kihei are the Kamaole Beach Parks I, II and III, which are state parks and staffed with lifeguards. Expand your drive to 10 minutes to find a dozen more. Wailea's three golf courses are close by; in fact, the clubhouse for the Blue Course is less than half a mile away. Our guests enjoy discounts on the Wailea golf courses. Wailea Tennis Club adjoins the Grand Champions property. Several fine dining options are also within walking distance, and a variety of more casual options in Kihei are just two or three miles away. Kihei also offers a livelier nightlife scene. Maui has much to offer farther away from Wailea, including Haleakala crater, the drive to Hana, spectacular hiking, snorkeling and diving excursions, horseback riding, zipline adventures, a winery tour, and much, much more. You will receive suggestions via the mobile app once you book. We recommend a car on Maui, as it allows you the flexibility to explore all the island has to offer. There are, however, options for fine dining, shopping, tennis, golf and beaches within a 10 - 15 minute walk from your condo. Twelve-night minimum stay Dec. 18 - Jan. 16. Hawaii state tax of 14.45% is added to the nightly rate. A cleaning fee of $180 and a refundable $500 security deposit are charged with each reservation.
