Welcome to Island Winds #521, your elegant yet beachy address in paradise with gulf and back bay views from a fifth floor vantage point. This resort-style condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with very generous square footage. It has the ambience of a home rather than the usual condo layout, and is very comfortably and luxuriously decorated and furnished. The kitchen is a chef's delight with plenty of counterspace and well-stocked cabinets to make it easier to prepare full-course meals, should that Welcome to Island Winds 521, a two-bedroom, two-bath gulf-front condo with generous square footage. The resort is located at the quiet southern end of Estero Island and is within walking distance of a myriad of amenities that include a public marina, movie theatre and restaurants. There is also quick exit via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and SWFL International Airport. Trolley service is available to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach, where there is an extended fishing pier and too numerous to count clubs, restaurants, and boutiques. Amenities at Island Winds include a resort-style heated pool and spa located between its two towers. The island's major supermarket, Publix, is just a 2-mile drive away. The ground floor of this tower offers a social room, exercise/fitness room, and library. Private beach cabanas are also available. Condo amenities include central air conditioning, ceiling fans, complimentary WiFi, cable TV, all linens and towels and a private laundry area. Entry at ground level is through a secure lobby. There are luggage carts available there to simplify your arrival. Take the elevator to the fifth floor and walk into an entry hallway into the open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas. There is tile flooring throughout, except for carpet in the bedrooms and living room. On entering the spacious and well-equipped kitchen there is also a tray ceiling with indirect and recessed lighting. All appliances are stainless-steel and include a small under counter drink refrigerator, glass-top range with convection and self-cleaning oven, built in above-range microwave and dishwasher. There is a European style stainless steel sink with disposal, and again there are beautiful granite counter tops with tile backsplash. The refrigerator has side by side doors, with filtered water dispenser inside the refrigerator. The freezer is a pull-out drawer and has an ice-maker. The adjacent dining room is nicely furnished with a dark wood finish round table with four suede upholstered chairs, and has a tray ceiling with free form spot lighting. There is also a small buffet. Separating the dining area from the kitchen is a partial wall with granite-top wraparound bar with 4 upholstered bar stools. Next is the spacious, bright, airy and well-furnished living room with its sliding glass doors opening to the screened-in and furnished balcony with its commanding views of the Gulf and back bay from a fifth floor vantage point. The living area has a sofa, end table and lamp, coffee table and a rattan side chair. On the other side of the expansive living area is group seating with two overstuffed chairs, one with ottoman, with table and lamp in between. Next to this grouping, and in front of a window facing the gulf, are two suede upholstered chairs with cocktail table in between. There is also a wall-mounted large flat screen TV, under which is a marble-topped cabinet. The primary bedroom has its own furnished, private screened-in balcony. The suite is well decorated with a king-size bed, night stands and lamps. In the corner near the sliding glass doors is a granite-top corner desk with desk chair. There are sliding doors to the balcony, and a large walk-in closet with custom shelves and drawers. Views from the balcony include the gulf with Sanibel Island in the distance, and to the north is an awsome view of the back bay and canal-front home. It will be a vision to remember and probably make you want to return again and again! A large wall-mounted flat screen TV is included. The bathroom is accessed through a private hallway. There is a double lavatory vanity. The walk-in shower is tiled and is accessed through a glass door. Also in the spacious bathroom is the washer and dryer behind folding doors. And the entire master suite can be shut off completely from the main living area. The guest bedroom has two single beds with built-in shelving above the beds. There is also a night stand with lamp, and ample closet space with built-in custom shelves and drawers. This guest room has its own private balcony through sliding glass doors overlooking the back bay. There is also a wall-mounted large flat screen TV. The guest bath has a linen closet, marble-top vanity with lavatory, commode and combination tiled shower and tub.
