Large canal-front condo, near beach + shared pool Welcome to Ostego Bay 271-3, a third-floor, three-bedroom, two-bath penthouse condo with very generous square footage and volume ceilings. Please note that there is a 2-week minimum stay. This resort is located at the quiet southern end of Estero Island and is within walking distance of a myriad of amenities that include a public marina and movie theater. The beach is accessed by a 5-minute walk from the Wyndham Resort, just across Estero Boulevard, where there is a Pincher's Crab Shack restaurant. In addition to its convenient location, there is also a feeling of privacy as you gaze out across the canal and natural mangroves and catch a glimpse of the Gulf of Mexico beyond. A CVS pharmacy and Santini Marina Plaza are at the top of your street at Estero Boulevard, with many shops and restaurants. There is also a quick exit via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and RSW International Airport. The beach at this portion of the island is expansive, connecting its guests to seven miles of white sugar sand beach. Trolley service is available from directly in front of Santini Plaza to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach, where there is an extended fishing pier and too many clubs, restaurants and boutiques to count. The trolley can also take you south to the secluded Lover's Key park. Amenities at Ostego Bay include a heated pool and spa complex, which is right next to this condo, as well as single enclosed garage parking with washer and dryer and an additional outdoor parking space. The island's major supermarket, Publix, is just a 2-mile drive away. Condo amenities include air conditioning, ceiling fans, all linens and towels provided, private laundry, and complimentary Wi-Fi and cable TV. Entry is via elevator to the third floor, where there is a spacious entry foyer and open-plan kitchen, dining, and living areas. There is decorative ceramic tile flooring everywhere except for carpeting in the spacious primary bedroom. The eat-in kitchen with a table seating four is a chef's delight, with plenty of quartz countertops and well-stocked cabinets to make it easier to prepare full-course meals, should that be on your list. Just bring the food! Appliances include a dishwasher, a double door refrigerator with a pull-out freezer drawer and an ice maker, a glass-top range, a self-cleaning oven, and a built-in, above-range microwave oven. There is a double stainless steel sink with a disposal and very generous counter space. The eat-in area has a mirrored wall with a wall-mounted flat screen TV and glass doors out to the balcony. The adjacent formal dining room with Roman columns has a mirrored wall and an oval table seating four. The expansive living room has volume ceilings and dimmable recessed lighting throughout and is nicely furnished with a sofa and love seat, an end table with a lamp, a floor lamp, and two overstuffed chairs, one with an ottoman. There is a glass-top coffee table with a dolphin breaking through the surface and a credenza with a large flat-screen TV. Expansive sliding glass doors open out to the screened in and well-furnished balcony, where you will find a glass-top rectangular table seating four and two other chairs with a cocktail table and ottoman. From the balcony, there is an awesome view of the canal and natural tropical mangroves with the Gulf of Mexico in the distance. The large primary bedroom has a queen-size bed, night stands with lamps, a slipper chair in front of the large window and two end of bed benches. There is also a triple dresser with large flat screen TV. Sliding glass doors provide access to the balcony. The en suite bathroom has a separate corner garden tub, a glass-enclosed shower with gold trim and fixtures throughout. There is a large dressing room style vanity with two lavatories and a commode behind a pocket door. There are two closets, one of which is a walk-in closet with built-in shelves and drawers. The first guest bedroom has two single beds, a desk with drawers on each side, table lamp, a headboard unit with book shelves and drawers with a corner floor lamp and ample closet space. The second guest bedroom has a queen-size bed, a 3-drawer chest with mirror, a night stand with lamp and ample closet space. The adjacent guest bathroom has a tiled combination tub/shower with gold-rimmed sliding glass doors, gold fixtures and mirrored walls, commode, and large vanity with lavatory and storage space beneath.
