Directions from the Kona Airport to Always In Season Farmstead The travel distance from Kona International Airport to Hawi and Hawi is approximately 50 miles and takes about an hour. Travel North on Highway 19 to the Kawaihae junction, about ½ hour. Turn left towards the harbor and take highway 270 North to Hawi about 17 miles. Once you reach Hawi Town, you will make your first right at the Gas Station that is Hawi Hill. Drive to the top of the hill around 2 miles, turn right at the top of the hill, Kohala Mountain RD, go for about 3 city blocks and make your first right, Puu Mamo, go about 1.5 miles and Puu Mamo dead ends and the name changes to Kamalei Place, you can only turn left so take it, go up the hill and take your second left and that is our driveway… Land Mark- you will see a yellow fire hydrant on your left, and our driveway is the next left.
