I thought so when I entered. I was relieved because I knew the situation in advance from the information about the room and the surrounding area that I received from Beth. Going beyond Kailua Kona, I went to Kona Common Shopping target Macy's with a trolleybus. Even though I was tired and called Uber, it was around $ 11 until Kona Isle. Even sitting late at night on the lanai and watching the stars. A small ant sometimes appeared in the kitchen, but there was no problem with us because it was the beach. Apr 2019 This is a first floor oceanfront condo located to all the amenities of Kona. It’s very cozy and has a ton of supplies, dinnerware pots and pans and so on. Also has washer and dryer. One bedroom, one bath. Sitting on the lanai watching the waves crashing in is totally relaxing. Would need a car as everything is not walking distance. Will definitely stay again. This condo and location has it all. Stay in Jan 2019 We have stayed in this condo many times. It is clean and comfortable. The location is amazing. You can relax on the lanai and watch the ocean and sunset. Step off the lanai and you are only a few more steps away from the beach area where you can sun, read a book, BBQ and eat or just sit around visiting with friends. Downtown is only 1 1/2 miles north and an easy walk. An amazing snorkel beach is only a few miles down the road south. Restaurants with ocean view dining are close by. Alii Gardens, a small market place, is almost across the road from Kona Isle and is full of little shops. We love staying here and it is hard to wait until January rolls around again. Outstanding location and apartment Stayed in Oct 2018 The apartment is well furnished and right off a private beach. It is a great beach to watch for dolphins swimming by and for gorgeous sunsets. Alii drive is close to downtown Kailua-Kona and several restaurants. The owners are easily accessible by phone if there are any problems. The manager of the Kona Isle is a very friendly and handy person and will gladly help with any problems. For these reasons, we have been renting this apartment every October for the past 12 years.
