Bald Knob Cottage is located on our Bald Knob property in Petros Tennessee is smack dab in the middle of off road paradise. Windrock is 73,000 acres and TWRA, WMA trails and Brimstone total of 240,000 acres. Bald Knob Cottage accommodates up to 9 people. There is a lot of level ground and large trailer parking in the back of the property just past the camping/cabin area. Bald Knob Cottage is 1/4 mile from Windrock's trails 26 and 27, and trail 43 is 2 miles closer to the prison. The cottage sits on Bletchers Creek with 2 acres of beautiful scenic land. The cottage accommodates up to 9 people with 3 bedrooms and 5 beds, 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen and laundry. Cottage has 50" smart tv for viewing your favorite apps. Also located on our property we have 2 log cabins Windrock Hideout and Brushy Mountain Hideaway . Cabins are separate from the Cottage and are booked separate. We have a lot of level ground and trailer parking in the back of the property just past the camping, Cabin area that is shared for Cottage and Camping and Cabins. Full property except the Cabins and Camping sites as they might be rented also with guest. We won't be at the property during your stay, but we can be quickly accessed cell phone if needed. We do camp and ride our rzr. We have our camper there from time to time. Petros is a old coal mining town also the home of Historic Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary, featuring guided tours, the distillery and The Warden’s Table restaurant. Don't forget we are on the Devil's Triangle covering 116 ,62 and TN 330 44 mile loop you'll find a little bit of everything; sweepers, tight twisties and three of the tightest/steepest switchbacks we have ever encountered. We are 13 miles from Frozen Head State Park, which features 50 miles of family friendly hiking trails. We have some of the best food locally in Petros and all of them are legal to drive to on your machines and less than a few miles away. If you need gas, we have a couple of local options also.
