Our apartment is located in our basement and has low 6'2" ceilings. Floors are painted concrete with plenty of cushy area rugs. Our family, with young children, live directly above the tiki den. You will definitely hear our family life above you. Bathroom -Walk in shower -Toilet, sink Guest access The tiki den is a private apartment on the ground floor of our home with low 6'2" ceilings. There is a section of the space that we have cordoned off with shelving that is our private storage. (You can see this in the picture with the table. It looks like a bamboo wall.) Guests are asked not to go in the areas that have been marked private. The courtyard and hot tub are a shared space with our family and all guests. Our family with small children lives on the floor above you. We do not permit parties and request that all of our guests conduct themselves at all times in a family friendly manner that recognizes that there are children living in the home. The hot tub is heated in the fall & winter. In the late spring and summer we turn off the heat to have a cool tub. A signed rental agreement, government ID and security deposit is required for all bookings. City of New Orleans requires booking guests be 25 years or older.
