Some highlights of our deluxe ground floor condo #166 and it's location in the complex: Location of unit - This unit #166 is ground floor in building 10 and backs onto a quiet, large, manicured grass area next to the lani (patio). This is a great time to have morning coffee while you listen to the small birds singing. Unit is away from shops, restaurants, pickle ball, a busy road and has a garden view. Google maps will put your mind at ease how close this unit is to the beach or you can view an older video I have on this website and view the walk. Please open my arial view photo to see the resort map and location of our only unit. We have a totally had the unit remodeled so it is bright and cheery. We had the carpeting removed and the same tile put throughout the unit including the patio so there is no hiding sand beneath your feet. The kitchen has new maple cabinets, granite and a microwave over the stove. In 2023, we purchased a new fridge, stove and dishwasher to help our guests have a stress free stay. Smooth ceiling throughout and a huge ceiling fan is in the main area. Bugs and Pests: We get a professional in to do a big blast at them once a year when we are there and send our guests bug-free suggestions so that the bugs should not be attracted. DVD player Inside day provisions of dvd's, puzzles and games When the condo sleeps 6 please be aware it is more crowded and the guests must put the sofa-beds back to sitting positions when they get up without catching the sheets in the hinges. Sleeping possibilities: Please tell us when booking how many beds you need. 1 bedroom with Queen bed (sleeps 2) 2 Sofa-a-bed queen beds (sleeps 2 on each) Resort information: Kihei Kai Nani complex is extremely tropical and across from the sandy Kamaole Beach II only 250 yards away. Guests typically walk down at sunset with a beverage and sit on "the wall" or carry chairs down to the shore. At the wall, they meet other friendly visitors and listen to the breeze rustling through the palms and the ocean waves against the sandy shore. This beach has been rated "solid gold" and one of the top beaches on Maui in book 'Maui Revealed'. Kihei Kai Nani resort is across the street from the beach which has flush toilets and lifeguards. It is surrounded by fun, less expensive restaurants like Fred's Mexican Restaurant, pizza, Moose Mcgillycuddy's, ABC, 808 deli and also, for finer dining, Cafe Ole is close by. All the units in the Kihei Kai Nani were originally built with the same square footage of 717 sq. ft. including patio (lani), one bedroom and one bathroom. Snorkeling is across the street at Kamaole Beach II and often turtles are seen swimming horizontal to the shore. We hope to welcome you to our condo. The upgrades in the unit along with activities like whale watching, fishing, surfing, boogie boarding, paddle boarding, jogging and snorkeling nearby lend to a great vacation. However, our cleaner is excellent and cleans door knobs, light switches etc. at the end of her cleaning with Lysol killing 99.9% of viruses & bacteria. Tenants are also provided with Lysol wipes for their use during their stay. Cancellation Policy: If reservations are cancelled you forfeit your deposit. If reservations are cancelled less than 60 days prior to check in you will be charged for your stay (unless the unit can be re-rented at full rate). If the unit can be rented at full rate the remaining balance will be refunded to you minus your deposit. No credit will be given for shortened stays due to late arrival or early departure for any reason including the weather.
