Walk to restaurants, shops, galleries from this Midtown cabin Nestled among fragrant pines by the Rio Ruidoso, Midtown Riverfront 1 lets you get up close and personal with nature. Yet its proximity to downtown Ruidoso also enables you to walk to restaurants, shops and galleries with ease. This two-bedroom, pet-friendly cabin proves you really can have it all! The bucolic beauty of Midtown Riverfront 1’s setting is matched by the rustic charm of its interior. Leather couches and an armchair ensure that there’s room for everyone to comfortably gather in the living area, and Western-themed decor adds to the relaxed, welcoming ambiance. Whether you’re watching a movie on the large-flat screen TV with cable, surfing the web via the free Wi-Fi, catching up on your reading or simply chatting with family and friends, you’ll feel far removed from your everyday routine—especially when you glance outside through one of the many windows and spy deer, turkeys and elk sauntering past. Located behind the living area, the dining area includes a large, handsome, turquoise-inlaid wood table that easily seats six. When you’re not sitting down here for a meal, you can settle in for a game of Scrabble or Uno. Just behind the dining table is a breakfast bar that seats two. This is a great spot for setting up your laptop to catch up on emails or look up recipes—because once you see how well-equipped Midtown Riverfront 1’s kitchen is, you’re sure to want to get cooking. Along with a full array of appliances, cookware and tableware, the kitchen offers ample storage. You can stock up on groceries at the beginning of your stay, rather than have to run to the market every day, leaving you more time for hiking, skiing, fishing or gallery-hopping. For added convenience, there’s a washer and dryer just off the kitchen, so you can pack light. And, if you prefer to cook outdoors, feel free to take advantage of the gas grill on the covered deck. This home does have central A/C and heating to keep comfortable anytime during the year. Like the rest of Midtown Riverfront 1, the two bedrooms encourage plenty of rest and relaxation. The primary bedroom has a handsome king-size Casper bed featuring My Pillows that you’ll be eager to sprawl out on, along with a TV for late-night viewing. The second bedroom includes an equally inviting king-size bed. Two more guests can sleep in the living area, where one of the sofas opens into a queen-size bed. The cabin sleeps six people in all—and a pet or two as well. If you’re traveling with a large group, you can book several or all four Midtown Riverfront cabins; all together they can accommodate 28 people, perfect for a family reunion or other large gathering. Midtown Riverfront 1 is one of four cabins that share three outdoor hot tubs when renting the entire complex. We mentioned that you can walk to downtown Ruidoso from Midtown Riverfront 1, and there’s plenty more to do nearby. You can drive to Grindstone Lake in five minutes, Mescalero Lake in 10 and Alto Lake in less than 15; all three are regularly stocked with trout. A number of golf courses, including Links at Sierra Blanca, are equally close. In a half-hour you can be at historic Fort Stanton, and Ski Apache is less than a 40-minute drive. Whether you’re in Ruidoso to ski, fish, hike, explore the Billy the Kid Trail, hit the casinos or simply relax with family and friends in a serene, gorgeous setting, you’ll find Midtown Riverfront 1 has everything you need and want for the ideal getaway. Experience its pleasures for yourself; book your stay today! Please Note: Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. This can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway or roads. 4x4 or chains may be required during winter months to access your home. Maximum 1 vehicle.
