This has to be the Best looking house in Old Orchard Beach! Our Beach house is so close to the Ocean you can smell the salty air see & hear the small waves crashing. This 3 story home is ideal for families and friends reuniting & spending either a long weekend together off-season or a week together during the summer season. Located on a quiet, serene cul-de-sac street that leads on to Maine's best hidden treasure The beach! 15 min drive to Downtown Portland. Sleeps up to a maximum of 25 guests. Our Open floor plan makes for a very relaxing visit. I highly recommend watching the video we recently uploaded so you can take a tour of the house, the patio, back yard. and the main living area inside the house on the ground floor. The Living room leads out to a large patio and garden. It comfortably seats 6-8 people. Alongside the living room is the open Kitchen. It looks out to the spacious living room and dining room areas. It offers state of the art appliances with a large, long island for 8 or more people to sit around. The new dining room table sits 10 people. There is an additional cozy seating area off of the dining room with a comfortable couch and 2 swivel armchairs with a large gas fireplace. Newly installed, Italian, country style outdoor dining table with pergola awning above offering afternoon shade. Beautiful, large balcony on the 2nd floor offers a gorgeous sea view, while the quaint 3rd floor balcony has a more intimate feeling for two chosing to star gaze over a glass of wine. From here you can clearly see all of Old Orchard Beach, Ocean Park, Biddeford Pool, Pine Point, Scarborough Beach, & Cape Elizabeth. Our beautiful fenced-in yard faces the quiet road - A landscaped stone pathway leads from the large patio to the gate that you access for the Beach. Outdoor patio furniture includes 2 sun beds, tables & chairs, large 2023 Weber grill. Comfortable sofa and chairs around the new outdoor gas fireplace. Built-in hot tub - seats 10, outdoor shower, kids climbing-frame. Comfortably sleeps 25 guests with 1 master suite bedroom on the first floor and ensuite bathroom- King Size Bed(memory foam mattress); 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor - 2 Full Size Beds in two of the bedrooms and a dorm-like bedroom with 9 single bunk beds - large enough for adults to comfortably sleep in. There is a very large family room in the middle of the 2nd floor. It has 1 large Smart TV. There are numerous couches around this room, one of them (the blue couch) being a pull out couch, sleeps 2. On the 3rd floor you will discover a large master bedroom suite with a King Size Bed, additional bedroom - 3 single beds plus a trundle bed. There is also a bonus living room area on the 3rd floor. 6 bedrooms in total. Bathrooms on each level. Washer/dryer located in bathroom on 2nd floor. There is ample storage space in all bedrooms for clothes, suitcases etc. With walk-in closets and large closets. In the large basement, you will find newly purchased table air hockey. Flip it over and you can play pool. skiball and a brand new, full-size table tennis table! This basement area is being turned into a fun kidzone area - it has new couches, too! Kids bicycles, 3 kayaks, numerous beach chairs, beach toys & games. We provide plenty of beach towels, bath towels & linens, Wifi and more.... Free parking is available alongside the house, up to a maximum of 6 vehicles. Our beach house property is less than 1 mile from the quaint downtown area filled with shopping, amusements, bars & restaurants. Our favorite restaurants include Soda Fountain restaurant / ice cream parlor - great place for breakfast or lunch (not a dinner location) 1/3 mile. Great walk!! Ocean Park Pizza - recently opened. Not a sit in place. Order ahead and bring it back to the house. Also, 1/3 mile. Cafe 64 - 1 mile away. Offers great breakfast options, breakfast sandwiches, pasties, coffee, etc... The Lobster Shack at Two Lights Cape Elizabeth - a must-see location! The Bait Shed - 2 miles (awesome indoor & outdoor family restaurant) JJ's Eatery - next to the Pier, 1 mile - best breakfast place in town!!! Beach Bagels - 1 mile Awesome place, friendly staff. Good Tyme Cafe - 1.25 mile Cobblestone Cafe - 0.5 mile (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) Ken's Place - 2 miles (fried seafood) Bayley's restaurant - 2 miles (fried seafood) Ice Cream locations - walk to the Soda Fountain, 0.5m. This is a great place to walk to in the late afternoon or early evening. They also serve breakfast & lunch. Great place for families!! Events on site: Over the years, we have hosted weddings, memorial services, graduations & and big birthday celebrations, reunions, & Work / group retreats. Feel free to liaise with us about your desire to host an event at our property. Event fees: 5 -10 "day guests" on site: $500 11 - 20 "day guests" on site: $1000 21 - 30 "day guests" on site: $1500 31 - 40 "day guests" on site: $2000 41 - 50 "day guests" on site: $2500 50 is the maximum number of day guests for this property Guests have access to the whole house. I am available to be reached during your stay should you have any specific questions about the house, the indoor /outdoor amenities or the surrounding area. The neigbourhood is quiet. The neighbours are friendly. The Beach is just awesome to walk along. You can walk for miles and miles along this sandy shore. Ocean Park village is just 1/2 mile walk which offers ice cream parlour, candy store & quick & easy burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches etc. for the family - all located at the Ocean Park Soda Fountain. Souvenir shops, convenience store / Sub sandwich shop & library. Yellowfin's restaurant at 5 Temple Ave is charming and family friendly. Pirates Cove mini golf is also just 1/2 mile walk - a fun hour or so to spend with the kids if you can pull them away from the amusement park downtown. There is a great park for young kids to play at. It is located just beyond Pirate's Cove, across the road from the train station. Old Orchard Beach Train station is located just under 1 mile from the house. This is an Amtrak train that comes up regularly from Downtown Boston. Otherwise a car is really not needed when you come to Old Orchard Beach - everything is within walking distance minus the occassional trip to the supermarket which is best to either drive to Saco (2 miles) - Hanneford grocery store or better yet for more affordable grocery shopping drive a couple of miles further down the road to Biddeford and visit the new Market Basket Grocery store - you will notice a difference in prices! Stop & Save and Rite Aid are also approximately 3/4 mile from the house. Airbnb currently limits the number of guests to 16 for all of their listings even though the house comfortably sleeps up to 24 guests. There is a $50 guest surcharge above 10 guests. If you are not sure of the total number of guests just approximate the number. Prior to your arrival we will confirm with you the total number of guests and will amend the amount. There is a strict noise ordinance in this part of town. I therefore ask all renters to come in from the outside patio area, back yard and hot tub by 10pm. If the police are called out to the property due to excessive noise the renter forfeits their deposit and may be asked to leave my property immediately. I share this with you ahead of time so that you kindly respect and follow this rule. Otherwise I hope you have a wonderful stay at our beach house. Thank you. Jason
