Popponesset Marketplace (inside the resort) is just over a mile away and is a favorite family hangout. You’ll find restaurants, a pizzeria, a patisserie, an ice cream parlor, bike rentals, gift shops, miniature golf, and live entertainment during the summer months. If shopping is on the agenda, Mashpee Commons is about 3 miles away with upscale stores, restaurants, gift shops, a cinema, and grocery stores. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house. Other things to note South Cape Beach and State Park is also just a short 3-mile bike-ride or drive from the house. This popular beach has more than a mile of coastline backed by low rolling dunes, wild saltmarshes, long expanse of soft, light sand, with warm and calm waters of Vineyard Sound. This beach offers great walking and bike trails as it is right next to a nature reserve park. We provide 4 bicycles for guests to use so it’s a great way to get around New Seabury and explore the many scenic trails that the area has to offer. Other places to consider while you are in Mashpee. The Cape Cod Children’s Museum is about half a mile away. We are close to many public and private golf courses. Less than 3 miles away is the Mashpee Commons, a large upscale outdoor shopping mall where you’ll fine shops, grocery store, restaurants, bowling, cinema, Starbucks, gift shops, and more. Guests can also rent kayaks and paddle boards from Mocean in Mashpee Commons. Day trip to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket is a ferry away at the close by neighboring towns of Falmouth and Hyannis which is about a 30-minute drive from the house.
