This newly updated, spacious 4-bedroom townhome will please the entire family when staying on the always relaxing Pleasure Island. This beautiful home boasts lovely high ceilings, new furnishings, updated appliances, and a central location making it easy to explore the island.  New to the rental market, this home is ready to help you and your family make some memories to last a lifetime! Family Tides is a quick 3-5-minute walk to the beach, known by the locals as Hanby Beach. Hanby Beach is the widest beach on the Carolina/Kure Beach coast. Family Tides is in a small community of single family and townhomes owned by local families and part-time residents. A quaint neighborhood where people connect with kindness and eagerly make recommendations to visitors. A great place to stroll the quiet streets in the evening or ride your bicycle on the many connecting roads that can take you to the Carolina Beach Greenway about 2 miles north to Mike Chappell Park. Mike Chappelle Park has playgrounds, a dog park, athletic fields, and the Carolina Beach Skatepark – something for the entire family.   Taking the connecting same quiet roads to the south will bring you to the Kure Beach cluster of attractions and activities – featuring the Kure Beach Pier.  In addition to the Pier, there’s the Ocean Front Park and Pavilion, Kure Beach Community Center (offering many different yoga classes for a small drop-in fee), and the Joe Eakes Park with playground, frisbee golf, tennis courts, athletic field, and nature trail.    Family Tides has a reverse floor plan with an open living area on the top floor. It is perfect for the family to spend qualitytime together. The deck on the main level is the perfect place to watch the sunrise over the ocean or relax in the evening. The spacious living room has plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy their favorite shows and movies on the wall mounted flat screen TV.   Next to the living room is the perfect dining area for those family seafood dinners for which you've waited all summer! With seating for 6 at the table and an additional 4 bar stools at the bar, there are seats for everyone! The newly updated kitchen is equipped for all your cooking needs. The main level also boasts a bedroom with queen bed and a full bathroom.   On the second level is the spacious master bedroom suite with TV, King bed, private bath, and private deck facing the ocean. The bath includes a double sink, shower, and soaking tub.   The second level has two additional bedrooms, one with a queen bed and a twin daybed (w/television) and the other room with a double bed. These bedrooms have spacious closets and share a full bathroom. **Family Tides also provides a port-a-crib and highchair, which are stored on the bottom level in the closet located under the stairs.  **Guests have access to the outside storage where they will find a beach cart to carry beach equipment and store their own chairs and other beach items.
