Guest suite in San Antonio

The ‘Chalet’ is in the Timberwood Park area in north San Antonio - a great location for business travelers and vacationers alike. It has easy access to HW281 and Loop 1604, with Six Flags Fiesta Texas and the famous San Antonio Riverwalk just a short drive away. Great for getting away from it all and resting, or using as home base while exploring San Antonio and New Braunfels. The folding couch bed can accommodate 1-2 kids as well as needed. The suite has a big screen TV, with cable and wifi, Alexa, a huge DVD collection, and various puzzles, games, and books. The kitchen is fully outfitted with all that you would need to cook a meal, along with many basic sundry items to help make you stay more comfortable. It is above the garage, but totally separate from our main house so there plenty of privacy! Guest access In order to get to the apartment, there is an external door into the garage. Once inside, there is another door to the stairs leading up to the apartment. Otherwise, the garage is not part of the rental experience space. Also, for your leisure or walking your dogs, the grass next to the parking area is available. We ask that you not go to the other side of the ravine to the vacant lot - it is not our property and we don’t want to intrude upon our neighbor. Lastly, the grass our house is also fine to walk your pet, however note that it is next to our backyard and our boxer is pretty protective and may bark from behind the gate. Other things to note We stock the chalet with various food items and a Continental Breakfast for our guests. Feel free to bring your own groceries in, but hopefully we have some of the basics already available for you...ie pastries, yogurt, milk, juice, condiments, snacks, baking supplies, etc. If you have a special request, let us know and we will see what we can do! Pets are welcome. We ask that you crate your pets while not in the apartment. We provide a medium and large crate with pet pad. There is no gated area for your pet. We ask that you walk your pet on our front lawn and pick up after them. The vacant lot next to us is owned by our neighbor who monitors the area with cameras. We have a Tesla High Powered Connector in the garage if you need to charge your electric car. If you have another EV besides Tesla, please bring an adapter.
