The open plan of the main living area in this lodge showcases the centerpiece of the room - the large stone-faced wood-burning fireplace. Large overstuffed seating in the living area focuses on the fireplace (and large flat-screen TV nearby). Sloping skylights expand the room and bring the mountain views in. A window seat tucked under one set of skylights is going to be a great place to lounge and watch the stars. The room is decorated like a big game hunter's lodge with trophies everywhere - animal skins, antlers and stuffed deer heads, turkey, pheasant, and fish trophies cover the walls.

The dining table sits under an antler chandelier (continuing that mountain animal theme) and the large sliding glass doors provide access to the deck and generous views of the mountains beyond. The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops, rustic look cabinetry, a tile floor, and is open to the living and dining areas – and of course, to the views.

Western and nature-themed artwork continues in the rest of the townhome for rent in Vermont, and the bright white walls offset the dark wood tones. To access the Sunrise Village Triple Chair lift using the Sundog trail, you will need to walk out of the Northstar parking area, turn right and walk up the road about 50 to 75 yards and the trail is on the left side of the road. You will be able to ski back to the Northstar building.
