The largest lodge on site, this professionally decorated and recently updated lodge has 5 bedrooms and 3 baths with 3,000 sq. ft of living space. Sit on the spacious back deck and take in the breathtaking view of a butterfly-filled meadow and wooded rolling hills. Perfect for a family getaway or a private retreat. Morehead Lodge is the ideal Lodge to stay with multiple couples or families. When you walk into the front door, the main level has a large living area with a luxurious leather couch from Arhaus, smart TV with Sling TV and Netflix, and a wood-burning fireplace. The Kitchen is off the living area, with a long table and plenty of seating. There is a bench that can be brought over from the entryway which can create more seating around the table if needed. The modern kitchen is equipped with all the essentials and has french doors that lead to the covered deck outside. Off the kitchen on the main level, is a reading room, the laundry room, and a full bathroom connecting the Jack and Jill bedrooms. Also on the main level, is the master bedroom with a large master bath and walk-in closet. Walk downstairs to the lower level, and you will find the entertainment room with a Foosball table and a Full Bathroom. The lower level also has two bedrooms with pull-out trundle beds...perfect for kids. While staying at Morehead Lodge, enjoy the 56-acre property with hiking trails, beautiful rock formations, and a seasonal waterfall. There is also a stocked pond and playground on-site. Morehead Lodge is a part of Crockett's Run, a Lodging, Glamping and Event Center. Events are usually only held on the weekends, and during the late Spring, Summer and Fall. Morehead Lodge is one of six cabins and 8 glamping units at Crockett’s Run. Morehead's back deck is private and cannot view any other cabins. Morehead Lodge has access to the entire cabin, except a locked closet. Crockett's Run guests have access to the trails, fishing pond, and playground. Morehead Lodge is located at Crockett's Run, a Lodging, Glamping, and Event Space on 56-acres. Events are typically held on the weekends only and in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Morehead is tucked away and not directly next to the event lodge. There are hiking trails, a pond and playground available on-site for Crockett's Run guests. We are located in Logan, Ohio so only about an 8-minute drive to downtown Logan, which has shops and a grocery store. We are 20-30 minutes away from major state park trails, depending on the specific trail.
