Main Living Area - Level 2 - accessed by interior spiral staircase or one exterior flight of stairs from driveway entrance: kitchen dining area access to large deck bedroom with king mattress (Select Comfort Sleep Number) ensuite bathroom with double sinks and tub/shower Living area with 43" 4k Roku TV, Blu-Ray 4k Player, wood-burning fireplace (available after Labor Day) Bottom Floor - Level 1 - accessed by interior spiral staircase: 2nd living area with sofa, 43" 4k Smart TV, xbox 360(plays DVDs), table for games, gas fireplace (available year-round) bathroom with shower bedroom with BedInABox Azul foam queen bed, desk and chair access to a smaller unfurnished deck Level 4 is an observatory with amazing views but no bedrooms. The Wolf Laurel community is a 30 min drive from the town of Mars Hill which has your basic necessities of a grocery store and several restaurants to choose from. For endless choices, Asheville is a short, scenic 45 minute drive down the interstate. Know primarily for the Biltmore Estate (which is NOT to be missed), Asheville has amazing dining, breweries, shopping and a unique Arts District that would keep you busy for weeks to see it all. Other highlights include an outlet mall, Asheville Botanical Gardens and Western North Carolina Nature Center. But you came to see the mountains right? Waterfalls, breathtaking vistas and challenging trails await in any direction you choose. Start your journey on the Blue Ridge Parkway and enjoy the charming mountain towns in between your hikes for the day. Mt. Mitchell, Grandfather Mountain, Chimney Rock, Linville Falls and Caverns and so much more! You can even reach the legendary Appalachian Trail directly from the neighborhood. Or if you really want an adrenaline thrill? Try one of the local ziplining, whitewater rafting, tubing or mountain biking places! Don't come up this high up the mountains and let other properties leave your 2WD stranded on a steep driveway! We have an easy 10ft drop and incline half circle driveway to the entrance railing, easily accessible for 2WD drive vehicles in all seasons except winter snow. 4WD required in the winter for general neighborhood access and safely at this elevation. Please NOTE: As mentioned in the description, this property is on 4 levels. As you can see in the pictures, there is a 4 story metal spiral staircase that runs through the home. This property is not appropriate for mobility challenged individuals. Also, we love kids (we have 2 ourselves) but note, the staircase is not blocked off and may pose a safety issue for an adventurous child.
