160 Jacana - Formerly 12 Jacana - Pet Friendly, Private Pool Welcome to your home away from home. 160 Jacana (Formerly 12 Jacana) features all the comforts of home in the perfect vacation setting. Located a short walk to the beach, this 6th row home is the perfect family getaway. The house is a raised single level home, featuring 4 bedrooms, 4 bathroom on a split floor plan. You enter the house through the inviting living room with ample seating and views of the back deck overlooking the pool. To the left is a formal dining table with seating for 8. The breakfast table is just outside the dining room and kitchen with seating for another 4. The kitchen is equipped with anything needed to cook a large family meal. On the back deck over looking the pool is a gas grill for all outdoor cooking needs! Down the hall on one side of the home is a private den with a TV and pull-out sofa for additional sleeping. At the end of the hall in the master bedroom you are greeted with a pull-out twin sleeper sofa and just past that, the master bedroom has a 4-post king bed & a queen sized pull out sleeper sofa with en-suite bath that features a large garden tub and private shower with double vanity. On the other side of this charming house is three beautifully appointed guest bedrooms. The first guest bedroom offers a comfortable queen bed and is equipped with a flat-screen TV for your entertainment. Just across the hall, you'll find the shared bathroom, complete with a tub/shower . The second guest bedroom, also graced with a queen bed and a flat-screen TV, ensures a cozy and relaxing stay. At the end of the hallway, you'll discover the final guest bedroom, which features a luxurious king-sized bed. This bedroom boasts the added convenience of an en-suite bathroom, providing an extra touch of comfort and privacy during your stay. One of the main features of Jacana is the large inground pool and spa. The pool is 32' x 15' and has a built in spa in the center. The area also has ample seating and a picnic table. There is also room under the house with an additional bathroom, refrigerator, and sink. Also, just off the pool cabana is the ping pong table and paddles. This is a residential community without gates which is home to both full-time and temporary residents. You can find an array of home from small cottages to large ocean front mansions. This community is at one with nature as it has relatively large areas of protected wilderness including forest and dunes. This beach is technically public, but with parking restricted to only guests of residents, you can easily find yourself space along large, open beaches. North Forest Beach is situated between Ship Yard to the North and West and Coligny Beach to the South. Ship Yard is fenced of leaving only one main road for entry to North Forest Beach. This creates a cul-de-sac feeling of the whole neighborhood with no through traffic. I highly recommend renting a bike and taking a leisurely ride up down the bird themed streets. Many guests find that they do not have to travel much past Coligny Beach Park during their stay as they have everything they need. In Coligny, you can find your grocery store, your general store, places to buy fun beach stuff, bars, restaurants and shopping. Rent a bike from Forest Beach Surf and Cycle! Uber and Taxis are available as well if you want to leave your car at home. From here, most things you would need are in walking/biking distance.
