The Old Vicarage Hotel & Restaurant is one of the oldest buildings in Bridgwater, with some parts dating back to the 14th century. The property has undergone extensive renovations to the oldest parts of the property, including 9 of the bedrooms, in 2019. The bar and restaurant serves lunch, evening meals and we offer all our guest a continental breakfast buffet with home-cooked traditional as well. Located in the heart of the town center, there is a garden and patio area, where guests can enjoy their morning coffee, lunch or a drink. Just off of the M5 at Junction 24, the hotel is close to many attractions such as Cheddar Gorge, Quantock Hills, Glastonbury, Wells, Wookey Hole and the city of Bristol. This suite overlooks the church one side and the garden the other. The private bathroom has a bath and a walk-in shower. It has a vaulted, beamed ceiling and a brass super king-size four-poster bed with Hypnos mattresses. It has a seating area with a sofa, chair and log-effect fire. Complimentary toiletries and fluffy towels are included as well as tea and coffee making facilities, flat-screen TV, WiFi, hairdryer, Egyptian cotton sheets, synthetic bedding and bathrobes.
