Close to parks and Wildlife Resort. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Parking and Pet must be confirmed...fee applies. A garden with patio of 25 x 40 feet ( 7.5 x 12 meters ) is your own private space. You will see birds drinking water in the bird bath while you can relax and sun bathe in the garden. . Ideal for social distancing without being enclosed. After wearing a mask all day in public, you can relax in your own private outdoor space and breathe. Have a BBQ and just relax. Enjoy nature at home and have all the attractions of the city nearby. If you need quiet time and your own outdoor space in NYC, this is it. You will have the entire apartment to yourself. This is NOT a shared space, but an entire apartment. Please note that we are not a hotel. Your amenities are provided only once, soap, towels, toilet supplies etc. We also don't provide room service. Property is over 100 years and is not perfect. However pictures are an accurate representation of the space. This is apartment and the garden are for you only. It is not shared with anyone else. It is your own private space. No one else has access to it. The apartment has two queens size beds. However the sofa in the living room also turns into a bed so this is where the 5th person will sleep if there should be more than 4 persons. Apartment is set up for 4 persons. Two in each bed, however the sofa also turns into a bed so in your party there are more than 4 people the 5th person can sleep on the sofa. The neighborhood has plenty of Indian, Caribbean, Italian, Japanese and Latin American restaurants. It's quiet with lots of family houses and yet close enough to Manhattan. There are lots of attractions around: Jamaica Wildlife Refuge: 10 min Howard Beach: 10 min Rockaway beach: 20 min Forest Park Golf Course and Tennis Court: 5 min away Resorts World Casino: 15 min Archery range: 1 block away Bowling alley: 3 blocks There are several small parks within 5 to 10 min walk. Park goers interested in exploring Forest Park’s natural settings firsthand often travel to its eastern portion, which abounds in hiking trails and bridle paths. Horses can be hired from a private stable in order to cover more ground from a higher perspective. Heading west, Forest Park transforms into an athlete’s playground. Softball, baseball, tennis, bocce, handball, and golf are a few of your options when you wander through this portion of the park. The 110-acre, par 67 golf course was modeled after Scottish links and maintains its reputation as one of the City’s most challenging golf courses. Music fans know that the western portion of Forest Park includes non-sports-related highlights as well. The George Seuffert, Sr. Bandshell, which can accommodate 2,800 people, hosts free concerts throughout the warm season. Attend an Urban Park Rangers event for an introduction to Forest Park’s geology, forestry, or animals, or grab a blanket or baseball mitt and head to the park to explore at your own pace! It's very easy to get around. The A-train to Manhattan is 2 blocks away. J-train is 8 blocks away. By train it's 30 to 35 minutes to Manhattan, 15 to 20 minutes to JFK, La Guardia. There are lots of buses. Paid parking available on premises additional fee applies. However parking is relatively easy to find. A short wait depending on the time of day. Only named guests at the time of booking will be allowed to stay. Proof with a government issued ID is needed for verification upon arrival. Refreigator water dispenser line is not hooked up due to previous guest neglect. To avoid any water damage we choose to not have this hooked up for automatic cold water. THE PROPERTY IS OVER 100 YEARS OLD SO IT IS NOT PERFECT. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A BRAND NEW PLACE THEN OUR APARTMENTS ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR YOU.
