At times, they too like to share a short vacation in our guesthouse, especially during the hottest times of the year. Given our regular pest control treatment of this property and the natural local presence of pests, we cannot fully prevent their entry into the guesthouse and thus we do not offer refunds for this reason. This area is still a little bit gritty and a lot artsy with many smaller businesses run by urban hipsters and long-standing non-corporate mom-and-pop operations. If you are looking for something suburban and uniform this location may not suit you. If you are looking for a character we have lots of them! Some things you will find nearby: art galleries, grass root coffee shops that have sidewalk gardens with organic veggies growing and bees out back, antique stores, movie theaters, and cool restaurants.
