Charming and Unique Rose Park Bungalow!
Unique and Fun Bungalow in Central Missoula - close to everything!
Our fun and delightful bungalow is full of character, cozy, clean, and beautifully updated. It is very central for playing and eating in Missoula (walkable to restaurants, markets, coffee shops, ice cream, parks, UM, Rockin Rudys, bakeries etc!). We are near downtown and the University. The home accommodates multi-families well due to its various levels and rooms! Our home has plenty of character and charm while also providing clean modern amenities. The house in general is light, bright, unique, fun, and full of interesting features. The decor is vintage eclectic. The spaces have all been updated, carefully maintained, and well cleaned. The main level of the house has an open kitchen, dining, and living room area (with gas fireplace!). A full bathroom is down the hall, along with a large bedroom that has a crib and a queen bed. The upper level has the playroom (with twin bed) and the very fun attic bedroom that is large and includes a queen bed along with two very fun twin beds that are built-ins (we call them pocket beds!). The basement has a complete master suite with queen bed (and TV/dvd) and beautiful bathroom with walk-in shower and double sink vanity. The laundry room is also downstairs with washer and dryer. With the rooms on all different levels, families traveling together are able to have their own spaces. The family room is located towards the back of the house and opens to the backyard with french doors. It has a couch and loveseat and smart TV with Roku. The backyard is fenced and connects to the family room with french doors. There is a large beautiful shade tree and a BBQ and seating for your enjoyment. Wi-fi service is provided throughout the house. The heat source is comfortable radiant hot water in-floor heat and a gas fireplace in the living room. AC is provided in the summer. Guests will have access to the entire home. You will find generous closet space etc to make your stay comfortable. We strive to provide you with a place that makes you feel at home, providing you with the essentials. Please let us know if you have any specific requests. We live in town and often welcome our guests in person. We will always be available on our cell phones to answer any questions you may have. Our neighborhood is a quiet old-style neighborhood in central Missoula. We live a few blocks from many fun things to do. Here are a few to mention: Dairy Queen - classic soft serve ice cream. Rockin' Rudys - the quintessential Missoula store with endless selection of local goods and souvenirs, fun toys, and unique offerings. Grizzly Grocery - neighborhood grocery store with all the essentials. El Diablo - a tasty cafe with wraps and tacos. Tagliare - Delicatessen with wonderfully crafted sandwiches. Frolic - fun beauty salon. Drum Coffee - Great local coffee and great atmosphere. Numerous city parks including tennis courts, basketball courts, and water fun on the splash decks. We are also very close the University, Downtown, The Fairgrounds, and Splash Montana. Please see the guidebook page for the general location of these spots relative to our bungalow. We are centrally located. There are numerous parks within 5 or less blocks of us, some eating joints, and a few stores. A bit longer walk or a short drive will get you to the Hip Strip, the University, Downtown Missoula, the saturday Farmers Market, Wednesday lunch in the park, Thursday dinner in the park, and Splash Montana. Buses in Missoula are zero-fare, if needed. We can also arrange the use of two cruiser bikes if requested in advance.
