This beautiful 6BR Green Lake home was fully updated in May 2017. It is 3,400 sq. ft. and features six bedrooms, two fireplaces, 2 full kitchens, comfy shared living spaces, two sofa-beds, landscaped gardens, & a large rooftop deck with great views of the lake. We are just a short block from beautiful Green Lake, and walking distance to many great local restaurants, cafes, shops and outdoor activities, as well as a short drive (or longer walk) to the University of Washington and the Zoo. This large home is perfect for large groups (up to 14 people) who want a residential retreat in a vital Seattle neighborhood with the option to prepare all of your meals in-house. The 3,400 square foot home is split up into 4 private "suites" allowing guests to retire to their own areas, plus two shared living rooms, 2 full kitchens, and a large rooftop deck for get-togethers. Other amenities include Wifi, TV, Netflix streaming, heating, air conditioning (in some rooms only), linens, stove, microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, coffee and tea, and two+ on-site parking spaces (and plenty of free parking on the street in front of the home. Guests also have access to: - A laundry room - Limited on-site private parking - two+ spaces (plus plenty of free on-street parking in front of the home - Umbrellas for rainy days - Nearby bus stops providing easy public transport to downtown and other great neighborhoods We like to give guests their privacy, but we are just around the corner and available any time for questions or needs. Seattle is among the most active cities in the U.S. and Green Lake is Seattle’s hub for recreation. Circling the lake is a 2.8 mile walking/running/wheels trail. The park also offers tennis and basketball courts, hiking trails, baseball and soccer fields, 9-iron golf course, public swimming pool and beaches, boat/kayak/paddle board rentals, and a theatre. The trail is also a great place for people watching and the best way to access many restaurants and shops lining the lake. Just around the corner from beautiful Green Lake Park, a 10-minute drive to Downtown Seattle, Fremont, Ballard, and the University of Washington, and right next to city bus stops. There is a lot to do within walking distance: Six blocks to restaurants along the lake and a natural organic foods market, and less than a mile to the other nice Tangletown, Roosevelt, & Wallingford neighborhood centers. Kids: Are welcome! There are 2 pull-out couches (1 full and 1 twin) that are great for kids. We also have a kid-sized playroom, a Pack n Play, and a high chair for the little ones. Supplies: We provide you with enough toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, soap, shampoo, coffee, and tea for your stay.
