My house is your house and I want you to feel comfortable here! Check-in is at 3:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am. If the room is ready ahead of that 3:00 pm time, you can check in early or if you get in earlier I'm happy to have you check in your luggage so you don't have to lug that around until it is time to check-in. Check-out time is 11:00 am but if there is no one booked after you, please discuss staying later with me, if needed. During your stay I do want you to be aware that you share a space with me and that I will be using it as well. I'm happy to work with you though as to using the kitchen. I'm independent and have no issue with guests being that way also. Obviously that means you can come and go as you please. COVID19: You must have been vaccinated to rent the space. I have hand sanitizer all around the house. You don’t need a mask here in Portland anymore. But I suggest you bring a mask as some places still want you to wear one. I don’t require guests to wear a mask in the house if you’ve been vaccinated. I’m following strict guidelines provided by AirBnB for sanitizing your space and the house. If you have questions about this, please ask. Other things to note Bring slippers or wear clean socks as no shoes in the house. If you like coffee/tea, I provide this along with a milk/or alternative. I have pour over coffee, espresso maker, Keurig or a French Press. Let me know what kind if you have a preference and milk and sugar or alternatives to that. Let me know in advance. There are so many restaurants that have patios and outdoor seating here. But there is indoor seating now too. Great food trucks and restaurants with a view. Then there are our beautiful hiking areas; rivers, lakes and waterways and many things you can do outside like hiking, enjoying nature. There are a number of bars/wine bars where you can hear all kinds of great music for just a donation. I have a list of these for you, along with a printout of restaurants. I’ve provided lots of things to read about what to do here including recommendations for restaurants, events, stores, breweries, etc. If you want to see what's going on in the area when you arrive, check out the Portland Monthly online. I also have lots of books/magazines about where to hike and things to do in nature.
