Pescadero Escape, located on the ocean side of Hwy 1, is a peaceful retreat for your family to get away from it all. Enjoy a 180 degree view of the Pacific and access to a secluded beach on this one-acre property under an hour from San Francisco. This 5,000 sq.ft. home is situated on one acre of ocean-front property West of Highway 1. It has five bedrooms with king beds that are configured as follows: 1. Master Bedroom, ocean view, ensuite bathroom, king bed 2. Bedroom 2, ocean view, adjacent (jack&jill) bathroom, king bed 3. Bedroom 3, ocean view, king bed 4. Bedroom 4, ensuite bathroom, king bed and sofa bed (no ocean view) 5. Bedroom 5, ocean view, king bed There is also a sofa bed in the family room (with limited privacy). Pescadero Escape is close to coastal attractions such as the quaint town of Pescadero, Pigeon Point Lighthouse, Ano Nuevo State Park, Butano State Park and numerous State Beaches each with its own unique character. Half Moon Bay is located 20 minutes to the North and Santa Cruz is 30 minutes to the South. San Francisco, Palo Alto, and San Jose are all about an hour away. Popular activities include beach walks, exploring tide pools, biking, fishing, kayaking, surfing, bird watching right on the property or at nearby Pescadero Marsh, nature photography, and hiking in the coastal redwood forests. The surrounding coast and mountains are best explored by car. Biking is also very popular if you want to bring your bikes. Please note that the property is only for the enjoyment of the guests on the reservation and that any outside guests, visitors, events, or ceremonies are not permitted without prior approval. Flatscreen TV with HDMI port and a Blu-ray/DVD player. Verizon has the best reception at the house. Other carriers are more sporadic. High-speed email / internet access is through SpaceX StarLink. The minimum stay is four nights. There is generally no discount if a certain number of guests does not stay for the full duration of the reservation. Insurance and county permitting restrictions do not allow day visitors and outside guests. Therefore, we cannot host any events, receptions, weddings or wedding-related stays at the house. For Tesla drivers there is a 40A Tesla charger in the garage.
