The open floor plan unites a large presentation kitchen, long breakfast bar and warm living room that surrounds a stunning floor-to-ceiling wood stove made from an original Tahoe steam ship boiler. Firewood are included so everyone can warm up together after an epic day on the slopes. A freshly remodeled bathroom is easily accessible on the first level off the dining room, as well as two bedrooms. All bedrooms feature plush pillows, down alternative comforters with duvets. All bathrooms feature oversized towels as well as a full selection of toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, first aid. Everything you need and some you didn't know you did! Two more guest bedrooms, a full bath with walk-in shower and a loft are on the second level. Your group can really sprawl out and enjoy all that the space has to offer. Your group will have full and private access to the large house. Pets are allowed but must be registered ahead of time. $50 per pet per night fee due by check-in. Violations incur $100 fee plus pet fees. 4 car maximum and no garage parking As your host we will also be more than happy to offer recommendations and insider local tips at any time! The main house is beautiful with high ceilings, an open floor plan and a massive wood stove in the living room. Everything is set to go for your outdoor adventures - ski and bike storage in the garage, rafts for floating the Truckee River in the summer. Plenty of room for a big family, with 4 queen beds, a pullout sofa and a queen sized air mattress. There's a bunch of ways to get around: -hiking and mountain biking trails out the back door connect to and endless network -A paved bike path around the lake is just down the hill -from the main road you can catch the local bus which runs from Truckee to South Lake. -there's room for 4 cars in driveway, on street parking prohibited year round for short term rental guests by the county. The house is at the end of a quiet residential street, surrounded on two sides by National Forest with trail access for biking, hiking and backcountry skiing 50ft from the front door.
