Welcome to our cozy Mammoth home! Our condo is your perfect home base for YEAR-ROUND mountain adventures. We are close to the Village/gondola as well as Canyon Lodge. Truly centrally located, with all the comforts of home!! *PLEASE NOTE: the HOA only permits 2 cars per unit in the lot. Cars in excess of 2 must be parked off-site. By making your booking, you agree you have READ/ACKNOWLEDGE our description, cancellation policy, house rules & “things to know.” Thank you! Mammoth BTC-10145-0001 5 comfy beds, 4 TVs, a beautiful fireplace, new dining table & a fully stocked kitchen all mean that our home is perfect for your whole family! This home has 2 bedrooms w/doors & a large, open loft sleeping area. Recent guests had this to say: "My family of four has stayed at numerous AirBNBs and Elizabeth's place felt like we were home. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were cozy, location was walking distance to the Village/gondola to Canyon Lodge. We would absolutely stay here again. - Andrew" We remodeled our home to create a place that you would enjoy as much as we do. We gutted the 70s-era kitchen & created more space for your family to cook & enjoy meals. We tore down a small fireplace and installed a larger firebox w/stonework to the ceiling. When the fire is hot enough, its fan automatically blows heated air into the room - keeping you warm & toasty even up to the loft. And we added a new & larger dining room table in June 2023. **Here are more features to make your visit enjoyable: -Free upgraded 400 Mbps WiFi & cable TV throughout the home. -4 Smart TVs w/options to stream your Netflix & Amazon accts. Local cable provided. Within walking distance, a number of restaurants at the Village and the Westin hotel also have TVs for watching live sports games, etc. -Family room w/large vaulted ceiling, dimmable lighting, ceiling fan. Woodburning fireplace with firewood included. Roomy seating, including a soft couch. -Nest thermostat/wall heater for family room -Remodeled kitchen w/granite countertops. Two coffee makers. A few coffee pods/bags to get you started. Dishes, pots/pans, and all the essentials! -Downstairs master bedroom: Comfy King bed, under bed storage, mirrored closet, & TV. -Downstairs bathroom: next to master bedroom w/walk-in shower & glass doors. -Stacked washer/dryer inside your condo. Wash/dry as needed, or just warm up your sweaters in the dryer! -Upstairs bedroom w/2 Queen beds: comfy mattresses, dresser, TV & large mirrored closet in the hallway. -Open loft at top of stairs: 2 comfy Queen beds w/under bed storage, TV & closet. -Upstairs bathroom: located adjacent to bedroom & loft, tub & shower. -“Pack-n-play" for families w/infants. Plus portable fans & a space heater to keep each room comfortable as needed. -Non-smoking/non-vaping home. ~PLEASE NOTE: our home offers 2 bedrooms with doors & a loft/open sleeping area. ~PLEASE NOTE: we do not have a central Air Conditioner, which is the same for the vast majority of condos and even resorts in Mammoth. We do provide multiple portable fans for you to use throughout the home if needed during the summer months. **Community/Complex amenities: -Indoor jacuzzi/sauna just steps from your condo. -New common area patio deck w/tables & 2 gas BBQs just steps from your condo. -Coin-operated communal washers/dryers. -Large parking lot with parking passes for 2 vehicles. You have access to everything inside the home, with the exception of two storage closets used by the maids. Your skis, poles & boards can be stored in the locker on the front porch (which is accessed with a keyless lock combination) OR under the inside stairwell on the waterproof mats. You also have access to two unmarked HOA parking spaces in the complex's parking lot. If you have more than two vehicles, we can give you the location of public parking lots that are located in proximity to the condo. We personally manage the home & will do all we can to make your trip memorable! We are available 24/7 via phone, text or email. If needed, local managers are available for emergencies as well. Mammoth Lakes offers something special every season during the year! Our home is the perfect "base camp" for all of your adventures, whether skiing & boarding in the winter, hiking & fishing during the spring and summer, savoring the colors of Fall, or taking in the many festivals, concerts, and other events the town offers (see our pictures here for a sample of activities)! You'll find many great places to eat & shop at the Village Center, and a nice happy hour at the nearby Westin hotel. We enjoy beer & good eats at Mammoth Brewery not far from the condo, as well as many other great places to find good food, coffee, and entertainment. Vons is just a short drive as well. If you need more recommendations, just ask us! Your Mammoth "home-away-from-home" is very close to local favorite spots! The Village Center is close enough to walk to (7-10 min walk). The free Village gondola sweeps visitors up to Canyon Lodge & back, and has a scenic 360-degree view. The Blueline bus (free) runs Winter through Spring with two stops (80 & 81) very close to the home. Trolleys (free) also run during the Summer months with nearby stops to take you to places around the local area and beyond. Per HOA rules, our unit is permitted a maximum of two cars in the on-site parking lot (any cars beyond two are required to be parked off-site). PLEASE KINDLY NOTE THESE DETAILS BEFORE CONFIRMING YOUR RESERVATION: >AirBnb doesn’t provide a way for us to indicate “2 bedrooms + loft” for sleeping areas. Specifically, our home has 2 standard bedrooms with privacy doors: one is downstairs with a king bed & the other is upstairs with 2 queen beds. Also upstairs, at the top of the stairs, is an open loft sleeping area with 2 more queen beds. >The Town of Mammoth Lakes charges property owners a TOT (Transit Occupancy Tax) on every rental period. Per Municipal Code 3.12.040, this tourism tax is required to be paid *by the guest* at the time the rent & other associated fees are paid. The tax is included as part of your final AirBnb cost & is remitted 100% directly to the town. Town of Mammoth Lakes BTC-10145-0001. >Conditions on the Mountain, gondola & lift availability, and the number of ski/bike runs open are subject to change daily. We encourage all guests to use the Mammoth app or the “mammothmountain” website to get real-time information & updates related to the Mountain and associated activities. >Despite offering private 400 mbps for our home's use only, WiFi can potentially be unreliable during storms. If WiFi is an absolute must during your visit, please bring a hotspot as a backup. >Our condo is a no smoking/no vaping & no pets home. >Our home is a 2nd level unit. As such, the front door is located at the top of a short flight of stairs. >As is the same with the vast majority of properties in Mammoth, we do not have central AC. However, we do provide a number of portable fans for you to use throughout the home if needed in the summer months. >Per the HOA, each unit is allowed to park up to two vehicles in the complex's parking lot. If you have more than two vehicles, we can give you the location of public parking lots that are located in proximity to the condo. >The complex is occupied by both owners and seasonal renters. Please be respectful of other units with respect to noise levels. >Absolutely no parties or large gatherings are permitted in our home. This is per AirBnb policies & HOA rules. As quoted from Airbnb, “Disruptive gatherings are prohibited, regardless of size.” For a full list of banned activities & consequences if found to be in violation, please read the “Community Disturbance Policy” at AirBnb.
