Lighted Fishing Pier,Pool & Hot-tub Our condo is fresh from a total remodel with brand new EVERYTHING! We have put your COMFORT first with high end furnishings including a super comfy king bed and twin bunks in master bedroom, and a top of the line queen sleeper sofa in living room, all made with high end linens and pillows. It works ideally for 1-2 couples or a small family. The place is bright and cheery with a fully loaded kitchen with enough cookware to make a large meal and serving dishes for up to 6. You have a wonderful bay view from the kitchen, living room, dining table as well as back patio. The Living room has a large screen TV with Netflix, and tons of cable channels as well as high speed internet. The sofas are high end and comfy. We also have books to read and a few games . Guest are also welcome to use the lobby that has tons of games and puzzles, as well as a bathroom to use . The one bedroom has a King bed and a set of bunks with a dresser and a tv. We've also added noisemakers in the bedroom and living room which is handy for little ones or nappers. The patio has a high end sofa and two chairs. Make sure to bring your binoculars so you can see all the birds and watch the activity in the bay. You are a short jaunt to Rockport beach and downtown Rockport as well. The name of our Rockport waterfront condo is Tequila Sunrise and we know you will love the well thought out extra's we've included. We specifically chose this second floor condo because it's located in the perfect spot on the far end of the building away from the noisy pool and hottub areas. It's also close to the stair case for easy access, and very close to the grassy lawn picnic and grill area where you can enjoy cooking up your days catch with a waterfront view. We do have a elevator and luggage carts as well if you don't want to lug your luggage or groceries up the stairs. The living room has wall to wall windows with a non obstructed Aransas bay view to watch the gorgeous "Tequila Sunrises". It's furnished with bright and cheery colors, high end sofa and loveseat and more. We added and counter high dining table and chairs specifically so you could see the water while you eat or work at the table. We furnished the patio with a really comfortable sofa and two side chairs. Our criteria was that it had to be big enough to take a long afternoon nap or sleep out all night. Remove the back cushions and have a great nap. The kitchen is loaded with basic spices, coffee and enough cookware to make a large holiday meal! We also have waffle iron, griddle, toaster, microwave and full size oven. Our brand new private lighted fishing pier is a hot spot for great fishing/crabbing/shrimping and is loaded with oyster beds and grassy areas and old pier areas that fish love. Catch redfish, flounder, sheephead, black drum or blue crab, and oysters. You can also wade the areas in front of complex. Gig for flounder right on the waters edge! We even see dolphins on occasion right at the pier! If you want to stay close to home, enjoy the views, get in a little exercise in the sparkling clean pool or take a stroll along our famous and picturesque "Water Street", a quiet one waterfront street that goes along the bay with sweet cottages and charming small parks, or walk the few blocks to Rockport’s charming downtown shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shop, art galleries, and even a winery. This area is also known for amazing birdwatching, kayaking, and beautiful beaches... in fact Rockport Beach Park was named #1 beach in all of TEXAS and is less than 1 mile away. The common area on the main floor includes comfortable seating areas and game tables, with a TV, as well as bathrooms. Each floor also has a few washers and dryers as well as ice makers to fill your coolers. This is on the second floor, which you can access via elevator. The front door is large enough to accommodate a wheel chair which you can wheel right out to the deck (with help getting chair over sliding door threshold. It would probably be difficult to access toilet and shower unless the guest could bare weight and walk 5-10 steps to get into bed, toilet or shower. (there is 1 ADA accessible condo at Laguna Reef in which you can call "Miss Kittys Fishing Getaways" and they could book it for you.) We are lucky to have a great local manager should any thing arise that needs attention. So quaint, quiet, special and beachy ! Water Street is the road in front of property where you see many people riding bikes, golf carts, walking, etc.. . Its on the waters edge with many quaint beach cottages and and couple of small public areas where you can fish, or access the water to wade fish. The condo itself owns land in front of the pier where there is a nice bird area and lagoon. My husband has had great success wading all along the coast starting in front of Laguna Reef. Easy to find your way around town, Lots of walking trails, parks, wildlife refuge. Area huge for birdwatching, kayaking, fishing and duck hunting. So much to do.
