The Estuarium and Fort are fun excursions but many days spent relaxing in and around the water are plenty exciting enough. We are available by phone throughout your stay. The neighborhood is a cul-de-sac with friendly neighbors and repeat renters. There is a bike path the length of the island, with hiking trails in the Audubon bird sanctuary, as well as endless beach walks. The lodging tax calculated by AirBNB is only for the state at 4%. An additional 9% lodging tax for Mobile County and the town of Dauphin Island will be charged separately after the reservation is made. The total lodging tax is 13% in accordance with local law.
