Day and night, it’s amazing! Yes, we’re still upstairs! Time to enjoy a cocktail with your favorite guy or gal at the cozy Blues Brothers entertainment stage with a private two seat front row spot! You can enjoy the life size replicas of Jake and Elroy and the big city night life sky masterfully painted on the walls behind them. Again, no expense spared! Might be time to have a hot steam room experience in “The Tank.” Situated next to the Blue Brothers Stage with a giant circular window so you can see Jake and Elroy while you steam, enter the steam shower through the themed “Meteor Bath” where a creative meteor is crashing through the ceiling! Lots of fun stuff here! The entire upstairs experience was designed and painted by Hollywood artists including the giant ceiling moon which was in the movie The Truman Show with Jim Carey.: Same artist! By the way, the ceiling lights up like a spacecraft! Let’s go downstairs before I run out of ink! ОК, another remarkable theater with a Sports book themed multi-TV experience. Watch multiple games at the same time on the five screen arrangement with your favorite game on the center screen. Lots of remarkable art throughout the livingroom and family room separated by a giant see-through fireplace with attractively colored fire rocks. Nice comfortable bedrooms, two of which have private patios and bathrooms. The Master bath, “The aquarium” has a cozy two-person jacuzzi tub to enjoy privately. Wow! I’m already exhausted and we’re just now headed outside to the finest back yard vacation accommodation anywhere! This is the place where celebrities, political figures and pro athletes have all come to play! Enter “The Cave,” turn on the waterfall and ambient lights then enjoy a hot dry sauna or steam shower and grab a cold beverage and listen to some soothing mood music while you chill. Great place to disappear! From there take a stroll down through a world class cactus garden to the “Fire Pit.” You will feel like you are camping in the Mojave desert. Tired yet? Hike back up and jump into the one of a kind Bill Brooks custom pool, with a beach entrance and the giant cave grotto with a powerful waterfall. Just what the doctor ordered! Oh yeah, just in case you got dusty on that desert cactus hike you can shower at the “Boulder Bath” outdoor shower and bathroom equipped with a drinking fountain. There is also a complimentary commercial vending machine with free cold beverages for your stay. Now it might be getting late in the afternoon and it’s snack time for the three emus and two alpacas. No boring, glorified track McMansion here! Here you can hold a bucket of grain at the four foot high ranch rail fence and they will interact with you while they peck away right out of the bucket. Imagine being face to face with a six foot tall bird that looks prehistoric. It’s rare, but these birds are completely domesticated and will sometimes come to the call of “Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty!” It’s a fan favorite, best 10 minutes of the day. Getting hungry? You can cook in three different areas on the property. Of course there’s the fully stocked main kitchen in the house but there’s also the “The Volcano” cookout area. A 15 foot man-made volcano with a 10 foot waterfall to marvel at, this funtastic outdoor kitchen and hangout area features two large Lynx barbecues and a flat natural gas Tepan griddle. Oh, yeah, and the volcano TV is there to entertain you while you slave away for friends and family grilling all those goodies. Watch the game of the day or listen to news while you grill away. Now head on over to the Disneyland quality “Tiki Hut” for a Polynesian pan fry! You can feed your friends and family at the Griddle and Bar while enjoying the spectacular views! Never a dull moment! The Tiki hut was imported from Vietnam. Our favorite Tiki Experience is the early evening village view, almost like being on a cliffside in a foreign country. The views are extraordinary! When we built this home we incorporated many life experiences we had while traveling with our three beautiful sons for 15 years by motorhome to every corner of the US and many other places. All creative efforts came from the entire family in this labor of love. Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance Schedule Pool cleaning: Mondays around 2:00pm (30 minutes) Lawn maintenance: Thursdays around 2:00pm (45 minutes) Perched on a hillside, our home offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape, with no city noise to interrupt the peaceful sounds of nature. From the chirping of birds to the rustling of leaves, you'll enjoy a symphony of natural sounds that will soothe your soul and calm your mind. And with our community's strict noise policy, you can rest assured that loud activities will move indoors by 9:00 pm, ensuring a peaceful and restful night's sleep. While our retreat is located in a rural area, we still have access to all the modern conveniences you need to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. If you're wanting to cook, grocery deliveries from local stores can bring what you need to the front door. If you're looking for a quick and easy meal, you can order from DoorDash and have your favorite restaurant meals delivered in a jiffy. While public transportation is not available in this neighborhood, we are just a short 10-minute drive from Moorpark, making it easy to stock up on groceries and other essentials. A 6.75% ECO fee is collected at check in. You can pay for this with cash, check, or via airbnb's resolution center. Receipt available on request. Parties: Per county guidlelines we are not allowed to host parties at our home. Guests found violating this rule will be removed from the property. Outdoor quiet hours: 9pm-7am ALLERGY ALERT: Please note that a loveable cat named Cleo lives at this property. She is an indoor/outdoor cat so guests may keep her out during their stay if they prefer. Animals: Three emus and two alpacas live in an enclsure on the property. Please let us know if you would like to feed them during your stay so we can prepare for their care. They are very friendly and easy to care for and interact with. Security: For your security, the driveway, side entrance and front entrance of the house is monitored. Winter pool heating charge: October 1-June 1 $50/day
