The best location in town. 1 1/2 blocks to Natural Bridges State Beach Park. (famous for thousands of monarch butterflies) and a two mile walking/bike path along the ocean called "West Cliff." The "Swift Street Courtyard" is close to the home it's where you’ll find winery tasting rooms, the Santa Cruz Mountain brewery, Humble sea brewery, Venus Sprits distillery, yoga studios, New Leaf Market (a mini-Whole Foods) and plenty of restaurants. (The West End Tap and Kitchen being one of my favorites) The Santa Cruz Boardwalk and wharf is approximately two miles away. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a king bed, private full bathroom(separate tub and shower), balcony and cable tv. In Bedroom number two is a King bed. Two twin beds are upstairs in bedroom number 3 with walk in closet. There is a full bathroom in between the two rooms. Downstairs ground level is a bedroom with a queen bed. Next to it is a full bathroom. The couch in the family room pulls out into a twin futon. There is a mattress topper on futon couch for extra comfort. I have one cot, one king blow up bed, two twin blow beds and a pack in play, that can be placed anywhere in the home. Located in a small quiet court with plenty of parking. The home is safer for children playing out front, affordable and more private than most ocean front homes which have cars and people constantly going by. The house is very safe with smoke detectors, carbon monoxide alarm and fire extinguisher. Everything in the home is well maintained and up to code. I personally go to the vacation home between guests to insure it's in top shape. The home includes a host. Susan lives in the neighborhood and can quickly assist with any unforeseen problems that might arise with the home. She will drop by and introduce herself, you can ask her questions about the home or get recommendations on great places to see. Downtown San Jose and the San Jose Airport are approximately 30 minutes away. The San Francisco Airport is 60 minutes away, as is Carmel, Monterey, and Pebble Beach. It's a easy close walk to the beach and a 2.5 mile ocean bike/walking path. Located in the most desired part of town. The backyard faces south which means it gets full sun. People love the hot tub and firepit. Close by to the house is the Swift Street court yard. It's a classy collection of six wine tasting rooms, Santa Cruz Mountain brewery, Kelly's bakery and one of our favorite restaurant's The West End Tap & Kitchen. There are many great supermarkets, restaurants and coffee shops close by. The neighborhood is not congested like the east side of Santa Cruz and Live Oak. You can park your car at any hour and not have to worry about finding a spot. No permit or metered parking. Located in a quiet small court. It's more private, less expensive and safer for kids than ocean front homes. You don't have cars and people constantly going by. House Bikes If you’d like to bring your dog it’s $15 per day per dog. Please mention ahead of time. only well-behaved dogs please. no puppies no diggers no excessive barker’s , jumping on the furniture. ect. Susan the host will be verifying how many pets you have and can collect cash.
