REG #3251 NO PETS. Mabel's Cabin is one of 4 cabins at LR Taylor Cabins. They were built in early 1900 by my great great grandfather & his 4 kids. They are updated w/ modern conveniences, but retain old charm. They're nestled in a unique neighborhood just above the center of downtown with the best views of Longs Peak & the range. Our family is pleased to have these back in the family & share with others what we have enjoyed for generations. Come build some memories & traditions. SHARED HOT TUB. Mabel's Cabin is located at the end of a private drive with parking in front. There are no steps into the cabin, however there are steps to the SHARED hot tub and laundry and to the downtown of Estes Park. The Hot tub is SHARED with studio cabin & the laundry with 2 units is shared w/ 2 cabins at LR Taylor Cabins. This cabin was built in the early 1900's, still containing the original charm. The kitchen now has a dishwasher, electric glass top stove, fridge, microwave, toaster and drip coffeemaker. The original bathroom has the clawfoot tub w/shower conversion. There is an ensuite bath in the full bedroom w/shower and toilet. The sink is in the room. There is a private shaded deck with seating for 4. The wildlife have a path between our cabins that they use almost daily. And the deer and elk like to rest under the trees around the cabins. We do not have air conditioning, however one can control the temperature by closing the shades during the day when out and about, then open windows to let the cool breeze in after 5:00pm when it starts to cool down. We do have fans in the cabin. It gets down to the 50's every night in the summer. There is parking for 2 vehicles in front of the cabin. The parking area is shared with 2 other cabins and the space is tight so we cannot accommodate RV's, trailers and very large vehicles. There is a pretty good hill leading down to the cabin so in the winter you will need 4WD if there is snow. We do have a snow removal service, but sometimes it snows at night which makes it difficult in the morning. We answer our phones 24/7. You can park your car at the cabin and walk downtown to enjoy the shops, restaurants and riverwalk. Please respect the neighbors and stay on the LR Taylor property. There are spaces for 2 vehicles. Parking is tight, so NO RV's or very large vehicles. In the winter we have snow removal, but if you get stuck, removal is at your own expense. There is a steep hill leading down to the parking . We do have snow removal. There is a city shuttle bus that can take you to major areas if you do not have a car or if you want someone else to do the driving. The fireplace is wood burning. You can purchase wood at the Safeway store.
