The Seehaus is a luxury, self-catering, double story house, sleeping six adults and two children comfortably. Ideal for families who want to unwind & relax during their beautiful beach-time holiday. When you find yourself in just the right spot of the house, you will be able to immerse yourself deeply into the rhythmic sounds of the waves - the perfect sound to lull you into a restful night’s sleep. The house is situated one road away from a generally quieter beach, just north of Salt Rock Main beach, called Tiffany’s. It is known for its reef which allows for great surfing, kitesurfing, spearfishing and gorgeous beach swims. In the outdoor area, you will find a stunning swimming pool flanked with 4 sun-loungers, a braai and firepit, an elegant eight-seater undercover dining area, and inviting, comfy undercover lounge and veranda. The four upstairs bedrooms are all en-suite, three of which have beautiful sea views. Downstairs you have a spacious, open-plan, naturally lit kitchen which comes fully equipped. The open plan kitchen makes good conversation between people in the kitchen and dining or outside areas easy, which often ends up being the most social part of the house. There is a separate scullery. You will also be able to make great memories at our dedicated games table, where a selection of board games and puzzles can be found. SeeHaus is sheltered from harsh weather and has ample space. It includes two eight-seater tables – one as an extension through the sliding doors from the kitchen to the outside braai, and the other on the covered veranda, making this home comfortable and giving everyone enough space to feel relaxed and one can enjoy long, lazy meals. The driveway is on the same level as the bedrooms and the living area is on the same level as the swimming pool, entertainment area and indigenous front garden. There is a seasonal vegetable garden which you are welcome to utilise during your time of stay. Minimum booking is 7 days. Linen change on day 7/8 of your stay and towel change on day 4 of your stay. All rooms have one cupboard for hanging and shelves open for your use. Hangers provided. Beach towels provided. Ceiling fan - NO airconditioner. BEDROOM 4: Two single beds. Bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. Air conditioner and ceiling fan. No sea view. OPEN PLAN KITCHEN: Six-burner SMEG gas stove and electric oven, prep bowl and fridge/freezer. Microwave. Fully fitted kitchen with more than enough cutlery, crockery and various glasses. Scullery with dishwasher. OPEN PLAN LIVING AREA: TV lounge, with various areas to relax. Eight-seater dining room table and four-seater kitchen counter seating. Guest loo with basin downstairs. The entire downstairs living area opens up with sliding doors onto the deck and pool area. WIFI IS AVAILABLE: Uncapped and Fibre. Most of the time. Password will be provided when you arrive at the house. DSTV: With television in the downstairs lounge. OUTSIDE: Pool UNFENCED - NO pool net. Fountain at entrance - UNFENCED and NO safety net. Wood / Charcoal Braai and Weber. Do not use undercover and do not leave unattended with burning fire/ hot coals. Firepit – wood provided. Please make sure that all fires are put out before going to bed or leaving the pit. 8 seater dining room table on a covered outside deck and sitting area. 4 loungers. Driveway space for four cars. Electric gate, electric fencing around property, and alarm with armed response. Small safe for personal belongings in the main bedroom. Garage – not available to tenants, but staff will have keys and access to it. The washing machine and tumble dryer are kept in the garage. (to be used by staff only please). If you would like any additional washing done it will be at an extra cost. We welcome you to a fully equipped self-catering house. Upon check-in, the beds will be made and the towels provided for each guest. Guest visits that exceed 7 days will include a linen change on the 8th day. Bath towels will be changed on day 4 of your stay. Beach towels are supplied – one per guest and will be washed on the 5th day of your stay. Any damage to linen, towels or beach towels or any furniture will be charged to the guests. On arrival, each bathroom will be stocked with one toilet paper roll, handwash and air freshener. All cleaning products for the house including dishwashing liquid and sponges will be in stock for staff to use. Any other cleaning products for the rest of your needs are for your account. Guest access Guests will have access to all the areas in the house except garage. Garage is out of bounds and for use of staff only. There will be some cupboards that will be locked with the owners belongings. Other things to note DAILY DOMESTIC STAFF SERVICE: Our friendly, trusted staff will service the house daily from 8 am to 2 pm (except for Sundays and public holidays). Services included: - Making up beds. - Tidying rooms and bathrooms. - Cleaning the kitchen and packing/ unpacking the dishwasher. - Washing and ironing done at your additional cost when staff have time. - Arrangements can be made for domestic staff on Sundays or public holidays at an additional charge. - Please show your appreciation for their efforts by leaving a tip at the end of your stay (not required, but appreciated). Garden and pool maintenance is done once or twice a week.
