The Silver Queen Mountain Home is brand new to the rental market in March 2020; completely remodeled in 2016, this 2BD/1BA is the perfect home base for all your adventures in Crested Butte and beyond! The Silver Queen Mountain Home is located a short walk from the base area, it is on the shuttle loop, and offers amenities throughout. Relax in the hot tub, store your bike in the amenity room (complete with dog wash station...woof), and enjoy morning coffee with an unobstructed mountain view! This property is managed by West Elk Property Management. We are a small team of hard-working local residents who love to work and play in Crested Butte all year long. Your correspondence will be with our office staff who are happy to help! Check out the guidebook on our profile for seasonal recommendations/local tips. Enjoy, and we'll see you on the trails! *Please read all of the disclosures at the bottom of the listing description prior to submitting a booking request.** The Silver Queen Mountain Home was completely remodeled in 2016 and now boasts beautiful wood floors, ceramic tiles, stainless appliances, and chrome finishings. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the balcony in the morning while enjoying unobstructed views of Mount Crested Butte. Begin the 3-5 minute walk to the base area of Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR). Or, if you would prefer to take the shuttle to town or the base area, you will be picked up at the Chateaux stop conveniently located directly behind the Timbers Building! This condo offers two bedrooms which include one queen and one full sized bed totaling sleeping arrangements for 4 people. Both bedrooms offer stunning mountain views as well as some exposed closet space. The full bathroom also a hair dryer, shower supplies, and a luxurious oversized shower head. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the basics you might need including a crock pot, blender, and basics like salt, pepper, oil. Starter supply of standard coffee is provided. The balcony faces Mount Crested Butte as well as the surround mountain range and the views truly cannot be overstated; you won't want to go inside! The hot tub, and bike storage room are shared between all owners and guests. Please note the hot tub does close occasionally for cleaning and we are not able to provide that schedule as it changes often. This building is very pet friendly with plenty of space to exercise your furry friends just beyond your front door! Feel free to use the dog-wash station located on the basement level of the building! Crested Butte loves dogs, and we love responsible dog owners just as much! We ask that our guests please utilize the doggy waste stations located on either end of the building. *PET DISCLOSURE: A maximum of one dog (Sorry, no cats) will be allowed in the condo at any time with a $30.00/night pet fee collected through the AirBnb Resolution Center prior to your arrival. If your dog becomes a nuisance (barking, aggressive behavior, etc.), you will be asked to vacate the condo immediately and no refund will be offered. The HOA has strict policies regarding nuisance behavior from pets and any board member can ask that you leave. If you are found to be in violation of these rules, there will be a minimum fee assessed of $200.00. There is no leash law in Mt. Crested Butte, and you WILL encounter off-leash, friendly dogs at this building. *QUIET HOURS DISCLOSURE: Absolutely no parties. Many long-term working residents live in this building; excessive noise outside of 8am-10pm will not be tolerated. *Please understand THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING in this building. The morning sun does hit this condo making the balcony an excellent spot to sit an enjoy the mountain air. Air conditioning is very uncommon in the Gunnison Valley; I would be happy to point you in the direction of some great local rivers and lakes to help cool you off :) *Parking Disclosure: Guests are allotted 1 parking pass to be used in the Timbers lot. There is no assigned parking. No trailers. Additional parking is available in the town of CB (3 miles) or in the base area at The Lodge at Mountaineer Square for a fee (subject to availability). 1 parking pass is given/unit; this is firm. *Hot Tub Disclosure: The hot tub is managed by the building HOA. West Elk Property Management cannot foresee closures due to routine maintenance or cleaning and therefore will not offer any refunds in the event the hot tub is unusable for part or all of your stay. STR# 305506 “For Emergency Contact/Local Representative contact information, go to the Town of Mt Crested Butte website and navigate to the Short Term Rental page.” Guests will have complete access to the entire condo and will share the hot tub/amenity room with other guests. Please respect common areas by not throwing large amounts of trash in hallway bins, ensuring doors are fully closed, and not walking muddy boots onto hallway carpet. Please respect the hot tub area by ASKING IF YOU ARE UNSURE HOW TO OPEN IT, showering before you enter, and respecting quiet hours. West Elk Property Management is at your service 8am-5pm MST and available after-hours in case of emergency. This condo is located in the town of Mount Crested Butte. Mount CB is located 2.7 miles up the hill from Crested Butte. Get some fresh air on the 3-5 minute walk to the main Base Area or hop on the Free Mountain Express Shuttle which picks up at the bottom of the stairs near the hot tub located at the NE end of the building. The bus stop is across the street from the Chateaux pool. Check out their website for schedule times and updates.
