Sleeps 8-12 comfortably. The Pink House is a beautifully restored 1838 farmhouse where vintage charm meets modern comfort. Huge but cozy, artful, & full of character. Guests rave that it’s spacious & well-stocked with a fantastic screened-in porch, 2 wood stoves, piano & hot tub. Perfect for family gatherings & friend groups. A gem for more intimate gatherings too. Many zones for relaxing & reconnecting. Walking distance to town, Short drive to North Beach, Sandbanks, vineyards & Wellington. The space **THE SPACE** Welcome to the Pink House! A fantastic space for small groups or families to gather! Comfortably fits 6 adults and 3 children. First floor: Huge renovated kitchen with exposed wood beams, massive island, wood floors, pantry and a glorious wood stove for those cool nights. The kitchen is fully-stocked and has a full-size fridge, electric stove, toaster oven, microwave, dishwasher and all the small appliances you could want (waffle iron, coffee making options, coffee cup wall, blender). There is also things like salt and pepper and herbs and spices but you will need to bring your own olive oil etc. Walk-out from kitchen to a massive screened in porch for dining al fresco bug-free and a place to sit and enjoy some peace and quiet during the golden hour. Also on the deck is a 5/6 person Hot Tub and a Propane BBQ. Formal dining room with pass through from the kitchen and seating for 6-9 people. Living Room has a huge sectional situated around a wood stove and a wall-mounted TV that is perfect for gathering to watch movies. A gorgeous Knabe Baby Grand Piano stands in the corner (will be properly tuned by June 2026). Library is a good place to retreat to if you’d like to get away from it all. Floor to ceiling bookshelves and wood panelling, this room is perfect for reading, playing games, puzzling and napping! The doors both close to provide bedroom-worthy privacy should you want to sleep on the pull-out couch. 3 Bedrooms plus tandem room: Bedroom 1 - King bed plus little couch pullout that’s good size for a child Bedroom 2 - King bed, ensuite bath Bedrooms 3/4 - Queen bed in bedroom plus 2 twin beds and a sofa in the tandem “teen room"  (plus 2 twin floater mattresses). Bathrooms: Three full bathrooms in total. One on main floor, one shared upstairs and one ensuite. Main floor bathroom is a renovated 3 piece with walk- in shower, heated floors and side by side laundry. 2nd floor has a 4PC shared bathroom with tub and an ensuite bathroom for the primary bedroom with double sink and walk in shower plus Japanese toilet. (Tub not working). Parking: The driveway has space for 4 cars only and a Tesla charger (need to bring own cable). Important: We provide two complete sets of king-size bedding, folded in the closets of rooms with a king bed. We do not supply sheets, pillowcases, or duvet covers for non-king beds. For the queen, double, and twin beds, please bring your own sheets and duvet covers. We do supply the basics like pillows, duvets, blankets, mattress / pillow protectors for all the beds plus hand towels, and bath mats. Please bring your own bath and beach towels. Inquire about the full linen and towel service available for an additional cost. Kitchen linens: dish towels and dish cloths are also provided and stored under the kitchen sink. Please do not attempt to sleep on any beds or couches without using bedding as a courtesy to future guests. Included Amenities: - hand soap and toilet paper - shampoo, conditioner and body wash - Fully loaded kitchen - WiFi - TV with Netflix and Crave etc. but no cable - Selection of board games, books, magazines, puzzles Guest Access: Guests have full run of the house, screened in porch and yard. The shed is used for storage. Please do not go in. Please don't go down into to basement. It is unfinished and the stairs are steep. Keypad entry for easy and convenient check-in. Available if needed via text, email or phone. Interaction with Guests . Very responsive via the Airbnb app. No smoking and no pets please due to severe allergies. Guest access The back door has key pad entry. Other things to note Please note: we supply 2 fulls sets of bedding for the king sized beds. This includes duvet covers, flat sheet, fitted sheet and pillow cases. You will need to bring your own sheets and duvet covers for the other queen, double and twin sized beds as well as your own bath and beach towels - there is not enough time between guests for our cleaner to get through that much laundry otherwise! We supply mattress and pillow protectors and the duvets and pillows. We also supply hand towels, bath mats and dish cloths.
