Our "Little Blue" Carriage House is the perfect space for a quiet getaway. Located in Italian Village, you can easily walk to many trendy bars and restaurants like Short North Pint House, Bakersfield, and more! Please note that there is a house on this property that is also available (Big Blue). On-street parking is required for this home. Permit is $3/day. We host dogs for a $35/day. See allowable dog breeds below. Pet and parking fees will be adjusted after reservation is made. This second floor carriage house is an open studio with a queen bed, cozy living room area, dining table, and small kitchen. The smart TV, sans cable service, is set up for your personal streaming accounts. The kitchen comes equipped with basic necessities to cook a decent meal (electric 2 top burner, microwave, air fryer, coffee machine, pots, pans, plates, glassware etc.) and has some basic cooking staples (olive oil, salt and pepper, sugar, coffee, tea, etc.). There is a full bathroom with a standing shower. The apartment has a laundry closet with a washer and dryer located on the first floor in the garage. The fenced back patio of the house has a table and chairs and another small seating area. A charcoal grill is also provided, shared with the guests of the main house. The garage is a shared space on occasions it is rented by the house guests. The fenced-in, rear patio area is shared with the house guests. We are available to guests by email, phone, or text. We know our neighborhood very well (!) and care about our community- let us know when you need something or have questions! The Short North Arts District is one of the Midwest’s best kept secrets. There is a huge variety of unique shops, bars and restaurants, and art galleries along High Street and a number of annual events that take place year-round. We have a thorough list of recommendations in the house to local bakeries, cafes, and restaurants. There is a ton to do on High Street and the up-and-coming N. 4th Street. It's super easy to get around using any GPS mapping. Columbus Convention Center- 0.6 mi - Just a 10 minute walk! OSU Stadium- 1.8 mi Downtown- all areas within 2.2 mi Ohio Expo/ Fairground/Mapfre Stadium- 2.2 mi Schottenstein Center- 3.2 mi Easton Mall- 10 mi Please read and agree to House Rules when making your reservation. We do not host local residents. Pet dogs are allowed for a $35 fee per dog per day, max $200/month per dog. We will adjust pet fees over 1 day after your reservation is made. Please notify us upon booking if you are bringing your pet pup. Pet damages/stains are subject to additional fees for replacement, etc. For insurance purposes, please confirm your dog is not the following: Akita, Chow, American Staffordshire Terrier, Pitbull, Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Wolf hybrids, Presa Canarios, or any mix of these breeds/any dog with a bite history. The main house shares the backyard. You may see the house guests in the backyard. The house guests also have access to the garage, so you may see them there. We observe quiet hours from 9PM to 9AM. If there is a noise issue, please feel free to contact us and vice versa, we will contact you. Start-up quantities of amenities such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. Replenishment is up to the guest as they see fit. There is no handicap access. There is a flight of stairs to enter the apartment. On-street parking is available for this home and requires a permit. Permits are $3/day. Guests with allergies and related medical issues and/or sensitivities- we cannot 100% guarantee that the vacation rental is free of pet dander, cigarette smoke, air fresheners/cleaning product scents, or any other elements that may trigger a medical problem or sensitivity. $29.00 non-refundable Damage Waiver fee is REQUIRED for all reservations. Damage waiver covers up to $1,500.00 of accidental damage. Damages deemed intentional or by negligence will not be covered by the damage waiver and will be the sole responsibility of the guest. If Ozone machines are needed due to strong odors of any sort, a $500.00 fee will be incurred by the guest. For your safety and protection of the home, there are exterior cameras located on the front and rear of the home. There are no interior cameras.
