"Tecumseh's Stall" is named after the beautiful steel grey Percheron draft horse that once lived on property. This is one of 4 cottage/apartments in a small Boutique property "Carriage House Accommodations" This luxury, craftsman style cottage is 350 sq. ft. with a King bed in the bedroom, full bath, double leather futon, smart TV and kitchenette. All guests have year-round access to a timber frame gazebo and hot tub, and other seasonal amenities. This cottage's is the original Stall location for Tecumseh. Now a gorgeous Douglas Fur Timber frame home divided into 3 separate cottages built by master craftsman and host Jake Thompson. Tecumseh's Stall/ cottage is designed in rustic elegance, and will warm you with the beautiful wood craftsmanship and radiant heat. Guests have access to the 2 acre forested grounds along California Creek with several gardens, picnic table, lawn chairs, a beautiful hot tub and gazebo - open 9am to 11pm all year, outdoor fire pit, horse shoes, and volleyball court. Hosts, Rachel & Jake live in the house next door, and are generally available personally, or by phone with any questions guests may have. This 2 acre property is located on Crow, Creek Road directly across from the Double Musky Restaurant on the edge of the Chugach State Forest - easy access to hiking trails and just on the edge of town for easy walking distance to groceries and restaurants. Free parking on property. Free Shuttle stops right in front of property. Owners have a cat and dog that live in their house and may roam on the property.
