This stunning property, nestled on 25 acres of exquisite botanical gardens, was designed and built by Australian artist Andrew O’Brien as a luxury farm stay for those who want to reconnect with nature in style and comfort. The space The Retreat consists of two converted shipping containers—one offers a luxurious bedroom with an ensuite, while the second provides a lounge area equipped with a wood fireplace and kitchenette. Each space has been luxuriously fitted out with bespoke furniture, design classics, and original art by Andrew O’Brien. Connecting the two areas is a large provincial-style garden, complete with a fire pit. Popular destinations, such as Passing Clouds Winery and Daylesford Cider Company, can be reached within a few minutes. Stonewalls Musk is also home to the Andrew O’Brien Gallery—the largest privately owned gallery in Central Victoria—where guests can experience more of Andrew’s large, colourful murals up close. Guest access The Retreat is one of many dwellings on the grounds of Stonewalls Musk and is fully self-contained, designed with privacy in mind. Guests can check in on their own via the driveway off Daylesford-Trentham Road by accessing the key lock. Alternatively, they can call Andrew upon arrival if they wish to be greeted.
