The apartment is completely furnished and is fully equipped with kitchenware and everyday basics to make you feel right at home. This property is located on “Las Picuas” beach; close to the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Resort (great golf, Casino, and restaurants); a 16 minute drive to Pickleball Courts, and it's a 10-minute drive to El Yunque Rainforest. The space Enjoy staying in this walk-up penthouse apartment with over 2,500 sq. ft. available space to occupy. Located in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico; the condominium complex is situated on a beautiful miles long natural beach, which makes for long daily walks. This two-level apartment is fully equipped to comfortably accommodate a family or a group of friends meeting for a mutual vacation; there are three bedroom areas, two isolated private bedrooms and an additional very large sleeping area, which also doubles as a family area. All are equipped with ceiling fans and air conditioning; and offer complete privacy, natural light and ventilation. Each bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed; while the third private sleeping area, which doubles as a family suite, comes with a queen size sofa bed, and an additional full-size futon. These areas have ample natural lighting, ventilation and fresh air. There is also ample closet space available. The entry level living room area is equipped with 600Mbps high speed internet access for streaming, a 55” Samsung 4K HD smart TV, a Roku streaming box and sound bar. This first level common area is not air conditioned; there are however ceiling and wall fans. And there are windows and sliding glass doors to outdoor balconies from kitchen-dining area, and living room, allowing for flow of fresh air and breeze. On the second level family-sleeping area find wireless internet access and streaming, a 55" smart TV, Roku Box, a Blu-ray DVD player, and sound bar; also, find a kitchenette with sink and cabinet, microwave oven, and a convenient mini refrigerator. There are also some Blu-Ray DVDs available for entertainment. On the second level, also find a large mezzanine family area overlooking the living and dining room below. The lower-level kitchen is fully equipped with dinnerware, utensils, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, blender, stove-oven, a refrigerator-freezer with filtered water and ice dispenser, and much more. Additional bags of ice can be purchased at the guard house at low cost. There is an indoor dining area on the first level, and outdoor dining area on the second level front view terrace. Between both levels find two terraces, and several balconies overlooking our beautiful pool area, and backside green belt. From our balconies we have a view to the “El Yunque Tropical Rainforest” on the right, and the ocean on the left. Condominium amenities consist of a large adult-children swimming pool, a baby wading pool, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, a billiard table, and a children’s play area. We also have direct gated access to a beautiful miles long natural beach; and it is just a 3-minute walk from the apartment building unit. We have installed a 600 gallon reservoir for continuous running water in the event temporary, alternative, running water is needed. We also have installed a EcoFlow Pro power battery for continuous refrigeration and power on the first level, living, dining, kitchen area, in the event of a power failure. Sit back and enjoy the weather in this very calm beachfront apartment complex. And enjoy the terraces and balconies, which also look to the "El Yunque" Tropical Rainforest, long referred to as "the lungs of the Caribbean". If outdoor activities, such as walking mountain trails, horseback riding, or water-ocean sports is more your thing, we have it all at close proximity. Host disclosure and advice: We remind our quests that although "Las Picuas" beach is a miles long natural beach, where you will not find a large number of local visitors and tourists, it is a public beach; as are all our beaches. Take a second to greet the few locals that may be on the beach to enjoy our fantastic year long weather. We recommend that potential guests notify any special needs prior to booking a stay. Guest access Exclusive parking spaces are marked #13 and #14 are available on the A side of the complex. There are also available, limited, first come guest spaces, and accessible parking spaces. Ample parking is also available just outside the entry gate, on the side of the road. No other parking spaces may be occupied within the complex, as each parking space is privately owned. There are also security guards for the condominium complex. As stated, in Puerto Rico, all beaches are public patrimony. This presents a unique opportunity, where you will be able to occasionally meet local residents and learn more about these protected areas, as “Las Picuas”beach and surrounding natural resources, are ecologically protected. Please do not disturb sea turtle nesting areas, which will be clearly identified; it may result in federal and/or local fines.
