It is located on a lovely corner in the heart of Topeka, walking distance to Stormont Vail Event Centre and Washburn U. You will have the entire house, which includes a back deck with patio seating and free off street parking. The kids & pets will enjoy playing in the fenced in yard year round. This adorable home is in a quiet neighborhood and has a washer and dryer for your use as well. 'This place is a gem. It was seriously one of the loveliest Airbnb's I've stayed at. Everything about the house was so cute and so cozy! And the yard was perfect for running around with my pup. Plus, there is a walking trail and park just a block away. It features ample green space and disc golf baskets. • Walk to Washburn University (less than half a mile!!!) • 3 minutes to downtown • 2 minutes to Stormont Vail Event Expocentre • 25 minutes to Lawrence, Kansas and Kansas University • 50 minutes to Manhattan, Kansas and Kansas State University • 65 miles to airport, MCI • 10 minutes to Topeka's premier shopping mall, Westridge Mall • 5 minutes to Gage Park, zoo, carousel, train, and a fishing pond! Guests have private access to the entire home and yard. Parking in driveway as well as free street parking. I give my guests space but am available when needed I’ve designed this space to be accessed at any time (late check ins are just fine). My day job does keep me busy so most likely I will not be there to greet you at the door, but I have a servants heart and I am easily reached. Located near Washburn University. You can easily get around by car or bike. Wonderful neighborhood to jog, bike, or go for walks in. Topeka Transit buses travel just near the house, therefore, taking a bus is a breeze. For driving, it is reasonably close to I-70. Topeka streets are on a grid. The numbered streets run East and West, and the named streets run North and South. I will be happy to give local directions. Quiet paved streets if you feel like a bike ride. Plenty of parking in driveway for multiple vehicles. Topeka is accessible from the following: I-70, I-335 and I-470; U.S 24, 40 and 75; KS 4. I-70 east of Topeka to Kansas City is a toll road. I-335 is also a toll road which head south to Emporia where it joins I-35 out of Wichita. To ensure you get settled in and have a great start to your stay with us, we have provided an initial supply of small items around the house including toilet paper but these may not be enough for your entire stay and you may need to purchase additional supplies.
