Our place is close to Eddy St Commons II and an easy walk to Eddy St shops and eateries., ND stadium & campus. Our place is good for couples and groups. We offer a smoke-free/pet-free home. Downtown is only 1.5 miles away w/ easy access to local bus service. There is also Lime bikes/scooter service available, as well as Lyft, Uber & Uber eats. We adhere to the Airbnb cleaning guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19 before and after each guests’ stay. The house was built in 1907 and has dental molding and other features of a turn of the century home. House has been completely renovated with wall to wall carpet, updated kitchen and master bath new shower and tub and a new stand alone shower. New washer and dryer are also in the master bath upstairs. Guests have access to the entire house with 4 bedrooms, 3 upstairs and one off the living room which has been newly renovated and new barn style door for privacy. There is also a sleep sofa in the living room. Upon request, we can set up a full size air bed in the master bedroom for additional sleep options. A toddler bed and a porta crib are also available. The back deck was just enlarged to offer more space for outdoor entertainment and cookouts. In addition , there is a large back yard with fire pit area, horse shoe pits and ample space for lawn games like football ladder toss and corn hole toss which are provided for guests. The back driveway can accommodate 3 to 4 cars for off street parking. Guests are contacted before arrival to assess needs such as sleeping arrangements to suit their group. A welcome basket full of goodies & snacks awaits them. They are provided the front door key box code and greeted in person at a mutually agreed time after arrival to orient them to the house and nearby attractions. Communication via text or cell phone is offered for the duration of their stay. Our goal is to make our guests as comfortable as possible to help ensure an enjoyable stay. Our home is caddy corner across the street from the new Eddy Street commons phase two and the new Trader Joe’s. We are a short walk to Eddy Street Commons (which has an array of eateries & retail stores) , the ND stadium and campus. Downtown is about a mile and a half away. Across the street in front of the house is Coqillard Park with picnic area, playgrounds and tennis courts. When attending events at Notre Dame campus, a short walk down Eddy Street Commons will get you to campus, tail gating areas, and the ND stadium and Cross Roads academic halls. Compton Ice Arena and Innovation Park are also within easy walking distance. Lime Bikes are easily available as well as Uber and Lyft. Public bus lines going to campus and downtown are accessible a half block away and offer frequent service. Guests are provided a welcome letter detailing house rules and check out instructions. We are flexible with check in and check out times to accommodate their schedules.
