A getaway with everything you dream of - expansive deck, BBQ, sunset views, private in-ground pool, secluded, wooded, nearby lake (9 mins), hiking nearby, 4 Ski mountains a short drive away, quaint towns, Tanglewood for summer music and performance festivals. We've set up this vacation home for ourselves to enjoy, so you know we've put our hearts into it and are excited for you to create memories for a lifetime. The home is set up beautifully for families or groups of friends. The home is lovely, 3400 sqft 6BR, 4BA, expansive open layout. We've just purchased it and are discovering all it's wonders together with you. There is a wonderful flow to the home, with the dining area, kitchen and living room all connected as you first walk in. There's a gorgeous fireplace in the living room with sliding doors open to an expansive deck overlooking the mountains facing west. Further off the living room are two guest bedrooms with a large bathroom connected to one of the rooms and a second door, including two sink counter. Off the dining area is the pool facing south and off the kitchen is a three season room we're still figuring out what to do with :). The previous owners did an a amazing renovation. Upstairs on the second floor is the Master bedroom overlooking the mountains with a King size bed and beautiful massage stone floor en suite bathroom. On the same floor are two more bedrooms and a hallway bathroom for them to share, along with a laundry room and linen closet. On the third floor is a bonus room with twin beds that can be combined into a King. We're planning to set that up to also include a play area and office. The queen beds are all Tuft and Needle and the King bed is Saatva, all super comfy. 6 terry cloth robes in the grey room closet (main floor) We're setting up a couple of work-from-home spaces including an adjustable height desk with walking pad/treadmill, monitors and webcams for video calls. We have 3 yoga mats, noise machines in most rooms, Smart Speakers (Ggle home) throughout, and a well stocked kitchen. Board games include Catan with Seafarers expansion, Carcassonne, Banana Grams, Chess, Go, Pocker chips and cards, stratego, battleship, colt express codenames pictures and three 1000 puzzle piece sets. Happy to add more, let us know what you like :). The home is close to 4 ski mountains, lots of hiking, several cute towns and of course Tanglewood for summer music and dance festivals. We are 9 mins from Queechy Lake. Skiing nearby: - 18 mins Bousquet - 24 mins Catamount - 30 mins Butternut - 30 mins Jiminy Peak There is a fun backyard, mostly tree covered, a hammock (more to come). Lots of space for the kids to run around and explore on 5 acres. 4 Ski Mountains nearby, great for kids, families, beginners / intermediate / advanced skiiers! - Bousquet (18 mins) - Catamount (24 mins) - Jiminy Peak (30 mins) - Butternut (30 mins) We are close to several quaint towns and all that the Berkshires has to offer: - Chatham is 9 mins away - Stockbridge 10 mins away - Lenox / Lee / Tanglewood are 20 mins away - Great Barrington is 30 mins away Ton of amazing hiking, waterfalls, apple picking, farmland and more. AWD automobile recommended for snow. The driveway is a bit steep. Worst case you can park your car at the bottom :), it's a private drive. We have a local caretaker who can help in emergencies.
