Each of our 4 bedrooms represents a Hogwarts house and features its own fireplace, television, house bathrobes, and nostalgic decor. The hardest part will be deciding which room to stay in! Also, you're staying at the luxurious Regal Palms Resort, complete with a pool, lazy river, water slide, charcoal grills, playgrounds, hot tubs, on-site restaurant, gym, tiki bar, ice cream parlor, and more! If avoiding toll roads, it's 45 mins. to Universal, 20 min to Disney, and 1 hour from MCO airport. We're excited to offer a custom Harry Potter-themed home at the luxurious Regal Palms Resort where we pay for the guest's daily resort fee, featuring a Leaky Cauldron theme kitchen/dining area as well as 4 Hogwarts house-themed bedrooms, representing Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, and Hufflepuff. The unit is riddled with details that only a true Potterhead can appreciate. Once you enter Platform 9 3/4 (front door) you'll immediately see to your left the Slytherin themed bedroom, appropriately placed on the bottom floor. You already know the green lights and silver decor symbolize the Slytherin colors. You might also notice the snakes placed throughout both the bedroom and bathroom. You'll feel like you're in a dungeon amid the elegance of a true Slytherin common room. The Living area and kitchen offer the old-fashioned feel of the Leaky Cauldron complete with barrels to finish off the look but with the modern amenities of stainless steel appliances, cookware, and air fryer. The kitchen pantry is also where you'll find all the Harry Potter-themed family games such as Trivial Pursuit, Codenames, Clue, and more. Before you begin your ascent up the stairs to the other 3 bedrooms, you might want to visit Harry's cupboard under the stairs. Located beneath a magical swirl of flying Hogwarts acceptance letters, which appear to be headed for Harry's closet. The Inside is stocked with toys, special snitch lights, and a small cot bed styled with Hogwarts bedding and stuffed owl. As you embark up the stairs, see if you can spot both Dumbledore paintings; Albus and Ariana, as well as everyone's favorite house-elf, Dobby. The famous sorting hat and the golden Tri-Wizard Tournament egg are also on display. Each bedroom door has been custom-made to commemorate the Hogwarts house it represents. A dungeon door for Slytherin, an elegant arched door complete with an engraved riddle for Ravenclaw (master bedroom). A "barrel entrance" door for Hufflepuff (according to the books Hufflepuff students have a secret barrel entrance). And of course to get inside Gryffindor (kids room) the door is a painting of the famous fat lady portrait that swings open- just like in the movie. Inside the Gryffindor bedroom, for our young guests, there are Harry Potter toys to play with, books to read, their own large television, even a snitch nightlight! It really can't get any better. The final room in the home is none other than the Hufflepuff room... the coziest room in the House. The yellow velvet queen bed lies beneath a dreamy vine light, a stone fireplace houses an array of magical plants and potions... If you're a true Hufflepuff, nothing will feel more like home. Guests have access to the entire home and Regal Palms Resort amenities (ie. gym, restaurant, pool, spa, recreation areas). There is adequate parking for up to three medium-sized cars if two are parked side by side and one behind both. Parking in the street is strictly prohibited and there is enforced towing by the HOA. We aim to always be available by phone or text. The front desk is also able to help answer resort questions 24/7 but is unable to help with interior issues. Regal Palms is a premium resort with beautiful landscaping and pools, good food, and friendly staff. We hope you enjoy your stay and Harry Potter experience. We find that most guests prefer to have a car for trips to the clubhouse. If guests choose to visit the theme parks while staying they can enjoy convenient proximity of 35-40 minutes to SeaWorld, Disney, and Universal Studios. We are pet-friendly! The HOA has a set limit of 2 non-aggressive pets per stay. Also, there is a one-time fee that is required at the time of booking. To be courteous to other guests who might have allergies, we respectfully ask that you do not allow your pets on the furniture at any time and are kenneled when they are left home alone. Furthermore, we ask that pets be kept on a leash outside and potty breaks are cleaned up immediately. There will be a link sent for a required $200 safety deposit (no money is withdrawn) upon booking, just like at hotels, through our partners at Enso Connect and the release will reflect on your bank/credit card in 2-4 weeks post check-out. Lastly, as of September 1, 2023, the Regal Palms Resort has issued a $100 refundable deposit on resort amenities and equipment. If no damage has been caused and the wristbands have been returned upon your departure, the $100 will be returned in full. Please ask the front desk for additional questions.
