This cottage has an additional vanity in one of bedrooms offering extra comfort to this historic cottage. The outdoor hot and cold shower brings another dimension to vacationing on the river & enjoying the river breeze! The space Journey's End Cottage is a relaxing retreat that will please those seeking fishing on the 2 mile wide Neuse River, family gatherings or a romantic getaway. The shared dock is 70' with ample space for relaxing, swimming or fishing. Coffee in the morning or sunsets on the dock are optimal all year round. Nearby Oriental is a haven for those seeking a dining or shopping experience. Beaufort is a ferry ride and a short drive away. New Bern is full of opportunities seeking history, dining and browsing the many venues along the beautiful streets and businesses. Guest access You will have access to the 70' concrete dock that is shared by my rental property next door. Enjoy the best view of the river from the sleeping porch or from the waterfront. Walking along the waterfront is a highlight. You will be directed to the shoreline for getting your feet in the sand, finding sharks teeth and shells. I have a private pool membership at the Minnesott Beach Golf Club, which is located 100 yards from this cottage. Guests will be charged per visit, per person if they choose to acquire a swim pass . Please inquire for further details regarding swimming at the pool. Other things to note Sheets and towels are provided for our guests. I am a member of the Minnesott Beach Golf Club Pool which is approximately 100 yards from this cottage. If you would like to use the pool, the cost is $7.00 per person per day.
